How to remove debris?

There should be a "remove" or "destroy" button in tracking station for every craft. Unless it's bugged and doesn't work.

I've noticed the same behavior.  Clicking that button in the tracking station does nothing.

@Fullmetal Analyst, I'd recommend submitting this as a bug.

Selecting it in the tracking station and clicking the delete buttons obviously doesnt work, so is there actually any way to remove debris?

This was noted the first afternoon and I'm sure there are multiple bug reports about it.

That said, if you select them in the Tracking Station and then click Focus to show them to you closely, you can right-click the debris icons directly and delete them from there. The "trash can" Delete icon from the list of Debris items on the left side does not work.

Already done:cool: (just saying to keep the duplicates to a minimum)

Did you submit thus as a bug?  If not, do so.  Don't worry that someone else has; we want the devs to understand the breadth of bugs, and only one person submitting something won't get their attention.

Here in the forums.

The pinned rules in the bug report forum do say to try to avoid posting bugs that already have a thread about them

The intent is to collect multiple reports of the same bug into one thread. This makes it easier for the Devs (so they can see all the ways the bug occurs), easier for the moderators (so we don't have to merge multiple threads), and easier for users (your bug won't get lost in a sea of posts).

Isn't that counter intuitive, though?  If they only see 1 thread, won't they think "Not a big deal", whereas 100 threads alerts them to a bigger issue?

With that said, if the goal is to have 1 thread per issue, would it make sense for the devs or mods or whoever to create individual threads that we can then post in?  I ask because searching the bug forum is less than ideal.

They're monitoring the subforum, and this is how we've been asked to convey information to them. :)

Understood!  I shall try to contain my bugs to existing threads.  Please understand that there already is a sea of threads, and titles/content may not accurately return during a search.  But I shall try!

I'm curious, what's actually more encouraged, as I imagine they get tons of reports through the launcher (at least 50 from me if not more already), some probably with the same problem from different people, with no option to respond and ask for game log or something. Looks like the forum is actually more convenient for both devs and users. Soo, any input on that?

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
