The docking port is embedded/placed inside the craft parts

The docking ports are embedded inside the craft, which causes subsequent bugs, undocking problems, and RUDs. Docking ports are much more wobbly than other parts, under different influences they behave like springs. After speeding up time and loading saves, they almost always end up located inside parts. Below you can see an example of this bug, where the ports are embedded in the craft (under spoiler)

But, wa… what were the devs even thinking while coding in the docking ports? Like they are like ksp 1s docking ports, but somehow they managed to make them more? springy

I think they put suspension inside the docking ports

The docking ports can end up inside other parts because KSP2 locks stressed parts positions when timewarp is engaged:
