Some parts seem to improperly heat during ascent

Bug Report

OS: Win 11 x64 | CPU: i7 | GPU: 4090 | RAM64GB

It's possible the below is not a bug and is intended behavior, but its difficult to say for sure as its unclear to me how heating and heat accumulation for specific parts works. I built a simple craft with the nose being a clamp-o-tron standard size docking clamp. During craft ascent the part heats up and is destroyed, despite the aerogui debug menu never showing the external temperature coming close to the part's reported 750K max temp (it reads around 250k during the hottest part of the ascent).

So I know docking ports are supposed to be like, vulnerable points of failure. But I don't think they're supposed to explode if literally nothing else on the craft has suffered that high heat damage, keep trying to dock an apollo style 2 stage mission and I keep finding my docking port missing after hardly skimming through the atmosphere. This also applies when it's equipped UNDER A FAIRING. So I Guess this is kind of 2-in-1 bug report. In Short:

-Fairing doesn't protect docking port from atmospheric heat.

-Docking port too susceptible to external environmental heat.

Love the new update besides the fact, has made the game totally playable. Furthermore I'm finding these fun bugs to have to work around, as despite the unintended nature, it adds a fun flavor of realism.

Definitely fix it tho. It's not that fun.

Reported Version: v0.2.0 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Win11 | CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X | GPU: Radeon RX6700XT | RAM32Go

Severity: Low/Med

Frequency: High -> can be reproduced consistently

Explosion problem on Chop-O-Tron docking port:
- In the ascent stage, temperature is going too high only for this part.
- While in space (& doing nothing), it just explodes for no reason (no gauge or anything...).

Can avoid it by adding another docking port docked to it with a fairing to make it aerodynamic. Once in space and ready to dock to another vessel, I can undock the additionnal docking port as a debris.
