4 questions: select probe with control, ladders, fuel transfer and mods.

First I working on an probe carrier for Eve and Gilly, multiple landers for Eve who is mounted upside down, probe core for the transfer stage an for the Gilly probe. 
How do I set control to the transfer stage or the Gilly probe?
Found I could to this like in KSP 1, clip into fairing and find the probe core and select control from here.

Second, looks like kerbals can not climb from an small ladder segment to another. Tried to set it so it looks like an continuous ladder but it does not help. 
Any tricks here. 

How to transfer fuel. Does not seems to be any way to do this, tanks has no fuel indicators. 

Finally mods comes in BepInEx\plugins\mod name. Where to put this. Tried the KSP 2 folder with KSP2_x64.exe but this does not look like working.

Press F to switch from one ladder to another.

There's a separate resource manager in the app menu (where Kerbal manager, trip info and other stuff is)

Thanks, I figured out the app menu who also hold mods.

Are you using CKAN? I was confused where to start, but once I had CKAN up everything was simple. https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/releases
