We're talking about changing the messaging for casuals/prospective new players, not spamming veterans. Maybe it's annoying to see such initiatives on the forums repeatedly but you can just not click the topic if you truly don't care.

Does Steam issue a warning on the game's store page if an early access game isn't being actively developed?
It seems all of the depots/branches on SteamDB haven't been updated in 2 days since the WARN notice finally took place.
They still have the extremely deceptive Early Access roadmap with multiplayer tacked on the end of it.

Okay then let's go specific with the locking doors example.

If 100,000 robbers are in your neighborhood, don't knock on people's doors and tell them to watch out for Joe Smith because he might rob you!

1. The proposal here is not about actively spamming people or knocking on doors, but adjusting the now dishonest messaging about KSP2 on the page it's being sold/advertised.

2. People here care about this for KSP2 because this is the KSP community and as you seem to understand, can inhibit the community's growth.

My analogy wasn't exact, perhaps not even a good one, and seems to be distracting from you the points I was trying to make, so I'd rather address them directly.

It's so far from my personal values to tow company policies and point out fine print than actually try to fight a company that has taken people's money and run off with it. I just don't get it at all.

I don't care about take two and it's shareholders. But I care a lot about techworkers who lost their jobs since I'm a tech guy myself and can relate how they are feeling right now.

And I don't care at all about "angry gamers" aka male entitled Teenagers who call for review bombing the profiles of former KSP2 Staff on linkedin/xing etc.

 

This in incredible lame ( because it shows they have way to much time and obviouvsly no way to spend it ) and dumb ( companys will know that  the applicants were part of KSP2 in any case) at the same time. These "consumers advocats" need to grow up and be quiet, sorry, not sorry.
