of all the things to forget, I forget a power source. No panels, no RTG's, the best I can do is hook it up to the base and wait a munar day cycle for it to recharge.

At least you have an objective every day.

send another rover but have it as a power source and attach it to the back, or wherever

Totally surprised by this result; I only expected to get a once-around from this bird, not a full-blown orbit. Had I been planning I'd have cut rockets when getting a 150km apoapsis, then done a circularising burn and rendezvoused with my space station to make this my first real SSTO. As it is, I managed to skip-glide it right back to KSC.

My screenie did catch ol' Thomlie at a bad moment, though. Seriously, he had a blast through most of the flight but he wigged out when reaching apex.

While my modem died, I decided it was time to crack open KSP until I got a new one.

Designed a miniplane with a 90% Survival Rate, shown here passing my flag.

Escape pod I was designing to use with the S2 from B9. SAS wheels are either broken or replaced with snacks. Or both. They aren't effective without RCS.

Here, Sigton, one of my favorite pilots, and Bob are standing around after a successful test on the current model (MK3).

Here's a double test with 9 kerbals total. Most of them are in the forward pod. We were landing in the Antarctic pole of Kerbin. Most memorable ones were Melsel and Tomski.

After that I reloaded a quicksave and stuffed them into the same pod. The one staring at the screen (Tomski) seems to want to eat my face. Unnerving.

Bob and Sig a few KM away from KSC. Did I mention the pod reminds me of a camper thing?

Final image, a shot of a plane I built.

Time to make a predocked ship bound for moho!

1-StationCoreFuel.png

First comes the station core/fuel tanks

2-LivingmoduleSASunits.png

Then the living area...

3-NuclearDriveEngineLander.png

And finally, the nuclear drive core and lander module (which was really, really heavy)

I'd post the rest, but photobucket is acting up right now.

They safely made it to moho.

Continuing my design and development of an Eve escape vehicle based around a staged Kethane Jet. At the moment I can get a 80km x 30km orbit without staging on Kerbin, currently trying to squeeze an orbit out of it without having to stage. This is a few design revisions ago, currently it's sitting in my SPH with an indicated 7300m/s dv.

Wait, B9 make S2 fusselage rear ramp?!

nah, all you have to do is make a copy of the HL Tail ramp and set a new rescale factor, 0.6 works well enough. Then just cover up the gaps with whatever you find best.

Today I had my very first succesfull SSTO flight! And after I was in orbit I thought to myself, hey why not go the extra mile and land near the KSC, and so I did! And how!

Congrats man. I had my first a few days ago. Its a good feeling over coming this milestone
