Armadillo MRS-2!!! (Mobile Rover Spatula)

It is impossible to flip this rover over. Its wheels will explode before you can go fast enough to try! Which is around 16 m/s.

It's also fun for quicksaving to do sweet rover ramp jumps on the Mun.

Jeb has been on the mun now for about a month.......alone........with enough fuel to return but no chute. Due to the fact that a rescue mission would cost too much for Kerbal Space Industries, Jeb has now been bestowed the new title "President of the Mun."

Glad you liked it lol. It really works though! In fact I plan to use a similar design for Mun trekking, since it's very safe.

I put my Laythe station project on hold today because I saw an opening for Eeloo, so I sent up a new lander design I was testing, that doesn't need any RCS because it's got fuel tanks attached to rotatrons and probe cores to make a powerful reaction wheel system. Not having to carry around RCS fuel is a nice plus.

After various efforts at Laythe and in Kerbin local system (RCS on Minmus is fun!) I decided to try a more wide affair and designed the KERBOLAR EXPLORER!

Unfortunately, though it launched fine and flew pretty good... my computer slowed to a crawl whenever I tried to dock anything to it, so a navigation of the Kerbal System is put on hold till I can get a slightly less part-intensive version into orbit... probably with more stock parts. Aim is to have one heavy (Eve class) lander, several medium landers and several recon landers (double duty as Kethane scanners and landing on low-g worldlets)

High above Kerbin my interplanetary exploration ship is getting topped off by my heavy refueler. Actually I have launched a reworked version of my interplanetary ship, with Nukes on pods, Delta V is over 9000, so that should take me a few places.

My new base design tested on Mun. This is all delivered in one go:

Habitat module with comms and lifesupport, with attached rovers. Crew is 4-6.

After many failed attempts I've finally tamed Tylo.

Added more stuff to the Ascension station! The big Kethane tanks are docked up, and I've started attaching the power modules, like the solar grid docked onto the thing. This might end up having to be a for-fun station, though: I haven't even put any of the living modules on yet, and it's already lagging.

Some pics from my recent Constellation style mission;

I am simply floored by the complexity, detail and planning that went into this mission. This is the kind of thing I wish KSP was ready to do out of the box, instead of needing tons of mods. It tickles all the right places in my brain for creating a purpose for all the effort to get to another planet, as well as creating a base.

The delivery craft designs, the robotic deployment process, all of it just looks like so much fun!

Solid, stellar work! Thanks so much for sharing! I am now officially jealous that I'm not running Damned Robotics, Kethane or Mechjeb!!
