Accidentally landed near the Armstrong Memorial while testing a new lander design on the new Mun. First time I've been there. Strangely the landing spot doesn't show up in the map view anymore, even though I planted a flag.

During the first manned crew rendezvous between the Velupe-1.1 Orbiter and the Inari-1 Space Laboratory, the crew observed a rare Munar Eclipse

As a word of note: The Devs should make it possible for their to be an actual Munar Eclipse

The first prototype of the Starbase Project, just prior to the Kerbin circularization burn. This station is, in a word, lag-tastic. The station itself clocks in at about 1260 tons, the circularization/transfer stage adds another 1350 on top of that. Designed crew capacity is 2048 (honestly just a funny coincidence), but there's only a single test pilot aboard for this flight. Must be awful lonely.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, no HyperEdit or OP engines. Just 32 7.5m rockets and 1.5 million litres of liquid fuel (and about 1.9 million litres of oxidizer).

Put... put a dock in it.

Put... put a dock in it.

It has 32 Clamp-o-Tron ports and 32 Clamp-o-Tron Sr. ports. The Sr. ports are at the ends, so you can actually connect a bunch of these monsters end-to-end if you feel the need to... Happy? :P

Tried my own hand at buzzing the tower, because all the cool kids were doing it.

First I considered jumping off a bridge, because that's what all my friends were doing, but then I got high, and fell back to joining in with the cool kids instead.

New stability system is pretty darned sweet, although Banshee II now needs a pretty drastic angle of attack to maintain level flight. Enough so in fact that it can't land without striking the rocket engines at touchdown. :/

Hauled-up in front of the hangar, awaiting the pullcart to take it inside for repairs.

Couldn't build a working display platform for HSTAC-03 Silverhawk, but then I realized there was already one waiting to be used!

It has solar panels and batteries to keep its lights powered, which illuminate the astronaut facility grounds.

Sounds like you might also want to dock a couple of graphics cards together too if you're up for something like that :P

Makes me wonder how a 4xPSU 4xCPU and 4xGPU system would handle such a feast.

More video cards would be a waste of money. KSP's lag comes from the physics calculations, which are performed on the CPU.

So, I was trying to make the legs on a lander less wobbly. Then I staged just for the fun of it. With engines running.

Here, I present the first Kerbal Hair Dryer! Runs for hours, and you don't even need to take your helmet off.

Not wanting to let Bill have all the fun, Melmy and Danble came out to join him. After a little rearrangement...

A Kerbal Sauna!

This was behavior not at all desirable:

After tripling the landing legs, all seems to work once more.

Edit: Nope.

Turns out I needed the bigger ones after all.

Due to special request and after the success of Mk 1, Project Genesis realized it could be repurposed two seated training/ rescue operations. Thus the Excalibur Mk2 was born.

It features many perks the Mk1 had including its famous STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) abilities only slightly heaver due to it being a two seater.

KSP_Arro_Broadhead4_Preflight_zps4755f590.jpg

Another busy day for Arro engineers and pre-flight crew in Cape Kernaveral's new Space Plane Hangar. Soon (hopefully) the Broadhead mark 4* will streak through the skies!

* We don't talk about marks 1-3. Nope. *cough*

I have recently saw the movie Aviator, and I really liked Howards XF-11 Spyplane. Of course I have reproduced it in KSP. It flies like a charm and has got a very high speed for a propeller plane.

KSP : 0.21.1

Mods used :

-Firespitter

-Procedural Wing

Hughes XF-11:
