Vanilla KSP has 'thermal effects', even without DRE. BobCat's burn mark effects need DRE to work, however.

KSP does have thermal effects, and BobCat has made a custom thing where burn marks appear on the Soyuz after reentry.

You don't get it do you? BobCat said nothing new. That means nothing new. Not "I would like at the very least the old Soyuz to be changed to look like this..." When you say 'at the very least', it sounds as if you ordered something from him and he failed to deliver, so you are asking for compensation. That is not the case. BobCat spends his free time making these (absolutely stunning quality) models. He distributes them free of charge so we can use them. You are not paying him, so you have no right to demand anything. By the way you write, it seems to me that you consider yourself somehow higher than others. If I had made the mistake of posting such a large request list when BobCat said that he will not be making anything new in the near future, as well as starting the list with "I want", I would definately not do what you did and use the phrase "At the very least" in your reply to someone who tells you that what you did is considered rude. And another thing: that Soyuz that you so insist on getting is not the same version of the Soyuz that BobCat has made. He made the original Soyuz and the -TMA. What you want is something I between the two (I'm not sure which one, but I think it is the ASTP Soyuz. Someone corrected me if it is something different), so re texturing Soyuz to look like it would not make sense. Now, I've got a great idea! How about you stop pestering BobCat and go learn to use Blender or Sketchup. Then you can make yourself a blue Soyuz, and everyone will be happy! Yay!!!

Well, that's what you call a Frankenplane (made very well, the aircraft itself is...strange). I have XPlane, if I had FSX I'd try it out. Anyway, really looking forward to the completed Saturn V!!! Also, I'm not sure if this was mentioned earlier, if it was then forgive me for asking, but will the finished version include jettison able or opening LEM fairings? Or both? No pressure to do either, you can make a chicken-shaped one if you wish. I'm just interested.

OK then, the Shuttle-Mir thingy shouldn't be too hard to do. The pallet behind it though...I'll use my 1:72 4D Vision space shuttle for reference. EDIT: I probably won't be able to do this very quickly, as I have recently had a concussion and was told by three separate doctors to minimize the time I spend looking at screens. Two questions: 1) Can I design something fictional that just looks good, if no, I'll just make the Shuttle-Mir version of Spacelab and: 2) Will the payload be the correct size if I make it sized for the real shuttle and then scale it to 64% when I'm done? I really like this art style. It makes me think of what would have happened if the Cold War had not ended, and Korolyev, Chelomei & Co had actually built their 'more on the mad side' rocket designs. This is the sort of stuff we would have flying now if the Soviet Union still existed right now, and maybe the not-so-distant future. Old Russian designs with a bit of Sci Fi. Question: Can I please be a play tester? I can test on a Mac Book Pro? Please?

PS: About the idea for display stands, the model for the Redstone launch clamp could be used as a stand, but the launch-clamp-ishness (extending legs) would need to be removed.

Frizzank, I have a request. When you release the Apollo stuff completely (I am not rushing you, just saying when), could you please split you pack into parts like BobCat is doing? The download is getting bigger and bigger, and also it would be nice to be able to chose which parts of FASA you download if there is a part of it you don't want. Moving on, I love all the new stuff you are making. The Saturn IB looks beautiful, as do the shiny parts. They make the Titan and the Atlas look much more realistic. And one last question: can you make the SI-B stage without a serial number? It looks to me as you are making bothe the CSM- and LEM-only configurations, and they were not launched by the same rocket (obviously), so having SA-202 written on the first stage would be really…strange looking.

frizzank, I just want to tell you how awesome this mod has become. The last time I used it there were only Mercury and Gemini, and then I sort of...forgot about FASA. Then I had a 'Oh my god why do I not already have this?' moment. Got to love the launch tower/umbilicals/clamps!!!

helldiver, what diameter is the EFT? It seems more than 2.5 meters, but if it is 2.5, could you please give us a version of it without the nosecone to use under the adapter (when you release it)? No pressure, just a suggestion. To keep the look of the whole launch stack similar to the side-mounted version...
