    I agree, only the first stage and half of the second stage are necessary to go three quarters of the way around Kerbin, and I start getting re-entry effects at 8 kilometers, running at full throttle with two thirds fuel left in the first stage.

    I managed to improve the time, 14 minutes 52 seconds.

    Why does the KSSR use KODAK on their flight cameras?

    Just flew the R-36M, the target for the 'test flight' was the desert west of KSC. Time from launch to impact-16 minutes 25 seconds.

    Why don't you use custom resources instead of MFS?

    Well, there's always the (less than perfect) solution of making the cargo bay doors as a separate part like BobCat did in his Buran, but that would probably involve re-doing the whole cargo bay...

    I applied for a plot on the future island several times, but for some reason never got put on the list. So I just started moddelling anyway, I'll probably have something to show a bit later.

    I think he might mean that some shots could have been recorded by the Apollo 17 astronauts. Although I don't think he is right.

    Does anyone find the way they keep saying 'Hopefully', 'We hope' and 'Fingers crossed' about some of the most critical mission stages just slightly worrying?
