Mr. Me
I'm literally seeing nothing but blackness with a bunch of stars with some nondescript black shapes. Please don't post invisible things like this.Sorry. My rendezvous was set on the night side of Kerbin.Edit:I slapped together a showcase:Javascript is disabled. techstepman
These are absolutely stunning pictures!I literally (and I mean it) sat here with my mouth open. Especially the second one is now my screen backround, at least if you don't mind!It really is dazzlingly beautiful!I just have three questions:What (awesome) modpack? How many parts does this station have? And with how many fps can you actually play? near future spacecraft/construction/solar panels , kosmos , angara pack (for the orbiter ptk in the first pic) , heat management , KW rocketry for struts and batteries and stuff, camera tools mod (absolutely nessesary for awesome pics, just added yesterday!awesome camera!) , aies aerospace for the antennas and procedural parts.thanks for your good words. I got some more pics here http://techstepman.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=/ . don't even know how many parts it was. deorbited the thing cause the fps made it barely playable. these space stations look nice but the fps hit makes them impossible to play. I play on windows with opengl.anyway thanks again. to say the truth I saw this vid and loved it so I tried to replicate it. .my idea is before learning how to build original and beautiful things in ksp first understand how other people do it.from your reaction I guess mission is accompliced. I cant wait for the http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/107273-0-90-UbioZur-Welding-Ltd-Continued-2-1-1-(2015-01-14) ubiozur welding to get updated so I can weld the large parts of stations so that the fps will be humanly bearable. OrbitusII
Luckly we're getting 64 bit with the U5 updateThat's a very solid "Maybe," from my understanding of the situation. The Editor will be 64-bit guaranteed, enabling them to find and solve many of the 64-bit bugs more easily than before, but a 64-bit build of KSP will take longer. The Unity Editor itself is now 64-bit, meaning we can now finally properly support 64-bit development. This doesn’t immediately translate itself to a 64-bit build coming out again, but the good news is that we caught some bugs in the new editor that were specific to previous KSP x64 builds. This means the Editor’s internal player is very similar to the x64 unity player, and that means we can now look for (and hopefully fix) bugs which until now were impossible to even reproduce in a development environment. As for when x64 will be available again, it’s way too early to tell yet, but we should be able to start targeting that platform once more, and run test builds on it again.Back on topic, here's a supply lander for a future Minmus base of mine:
SkyRender
I was wondering if it was possible to make a sturdy, functional, and good-looking heavy science rover with the Mk2 cockpit. Yep.

Totally up to you.

KAO
I've come up with the solution to the problem of landing too far away from the intended landing site. In such instances, a player could:A. use a rover to ferry kerbals, equipment, or fuel. Though this would necessitate a bulky rover stuffed somewhere on your ship.B. fire the engines to move the whole ship closer. This is risky and needs a lot of fuel, of which you may have none. The SRF-01 "Seltzer" rocket pack can fly a kerbal 10 or more kilometers from the landing site and land safely. The bulkhead under the seat could hold KAS pipes, struts, and most things that a kerbal can carry.During test trials on Duna:its compact size means it's easy to store inside a ship:screenshot30 by moon-man1, on Flickr
