AFAIK There isn't even an Gemini LES O.o The real Gemini didn't had one due to weight issues. There is one for the Mercury but that surely won't lift a Gemini capsule

In the mod there is and IRL the Big Gemini would've had an LES, since the normal ejector seat option wouldn't work with that larger and heavier design.

Also the launch clamp looks awesome. Going to try it out immediately.

This is what I meant by the " But its not like that in real life" giving me a headache....

I don't have any trouble with Deadly Reentry using the existing Mercury and Gemini capsules without heatshields. Are you diving straight down into the atmosphere?

I did a test with Gemini coming back from the Mun at 3200 m/s at 25km PE and it survived BUT what I meant by supporting Deadly Reentry was adding a AblativeShielding resource (if I remember correctly), which would be used during aerobraking just like the others Deadly Reentry heatshields are. Not that this is very important but it would be a nice touch I think. I dunno what frizzank thinks about this.

Finally figured out how to install this. Frizz, you didn't say anything about making a new folder inside of the FASA folder called Misc :P

Gave it a test on the Mercury Atlas, just for fun. KJR, however, disagreed.

Correct. Gemini capsules used modified ejection seats for the initial ascent... But if you needed to bail later in the ascent (say, 100,000 feet and Mach 3.7), you had to go along for the ride until you could shut down the rocket.

Oh cool Frizzank how will it be deffrent form the apollo mission pack?

and maybe I am odd but I like putting the parts togeather my self :P

oh I had a problem with the real solar system mod.... I could not get a redstone even into sub orbet... I mean allen sheppered went 100 miles in the sky or about 160Km did you scail down the parts for the scaled down kerbal system?

Though I am told that if you used an earth sized kerble then I hear you need ferram to make the air less soupy at sea level, any one else run into this issue?

OK, quick report from the field about the new Crew Tower...

The retraction animation as it stands right now (I know it's temp, but bear with me...) is a bit to swift, and it collides with your rocket if you're not REALLY careful. Otherwise, a SUPERB addition that I think Squad would be wise to either make stock or make one similar. It's little gems like this that really improve the experience. ;D

Hmmm... Just though of something: How hard is it to modify that launch clamp? If it's not hard, may I suggest that you make a "launch tower" with service arms that telescope inwards slightly, then swing clear of the vehicle, just for added realism? Don't know if it would be possible to have multiple arms per tower (I personally doubt it, but that's a gut feeling, not an informed coding decision), but perhaps an arm that blends into the crew tower smoothly that you can place, and that won't collide with other launch clamps.

I also noticed that the Do Science Experiment thing on the MOL Lab has 100% transmission efficiency, even though it's a Materials Lab experiment (which gets 30% efficiency in stock). There's not a lot of FASA experiments that can be improved by the Science Lab, so I suggest lowering the transmission efficiency. Also 'Do Science Experiment' is kind of an ugly sentence. The standard 'Observe Materials Bay' or something is much better.

DennyTX is doing the LEM CSM and it looks amazing already. The rest of the stuff is going to be in the FASA style witch is a kind of mix between real life and Kerbal. Also at the same quality level you have come to expect from the rest of FASA. For my part I am going to make is Saturn IB first stage and engine, second stage and engine and the CSM adapter. The second Phase is going to be the Saturn V. It will reuse some of the parts from IB so it should go fairly quickly at that point.

The retraction animation as it stands right now (I know it's temp, but bear with me...) is a bit to swift,

This model will not be in FASA, it was a prototype for testing purposes only. The one that will be in FASA will be completely different. More on that when it gets closer to completion.

Noticed that the Gemini Docking Nosecone is wrongly spelled as Noseccone.

Thank you, I will fix that.

I also noticed that the Do Science Experiment thing on the MOL Lab has 100% transmission efficiency, even though it's a Materials Lab experiment (which gets 30% efficiency in stock).

You are correct it should be. Thank you for all your help in fixing the broken stuff.

Any suggestions as to what the science experiment should say when you click on it, rather than "Do Science"?

EDIT: For now it just says "Run Lab Experiment"
