The H-1 engine looks great, but the fairing needs more than just textures.

Saturn I also had flared engine fairings. They're not very visible because of how many fins the thing has, but certainly are there.

Also, could you make RS-27 engines? They were essentially H-1s with a slightly different nozzle (most notably missing the big tube on the side). They were used on Delta rockets, I think that they'd be a neat addition to your engine collection, even if you're not going to make any Deltas anytime soon. There's also RS-27A, exactly the same as RS-27, but with a longer, vacuum-optimized nozzle.

That's not the Saturn IB, that's the Saturn I. They're different.

Its missing the bulkhead firewall but its the same engine

From Wikipedia

S-IB stage

The S-IB stage was built by the Chrysler corporation at the Michoud Assembly Facility, New Orleans.[3] It was powered by eight H-1 rocket engines burning RP-1 fuel with liquid oxygen (LOX). Eight Redstone tanks (four holding fuel and four holding LOX) were clustered around a Jupiter rocket LOX tank. The four outboard engines were mounted on gimbals, allowing them to be steered to control the rocket. Eight fins surrounding the base thrust structure provided aerodynamic stability and control.

Found this, thought it would help if you are thinking of doing the Saturn V launch tower/launch clamps

Yes the hold down arms are going to be something that's going to happen for Saturn V.

More accurately... the Saturn IB variant of the S-IVB stage (S-IVB-200 series stages) had the hinged fairing panels, while the Saturn V variant (S-IVB-500 series stages) used ones that jettisoned instead. I've never seen any explanation why the difference between the two, since the two stages were in production pretty much concurrently. (Other differences, like the number of ullage motors on each, can be explained by the different lower stages used to launch them, and the different applications.)

They decided to have them completely separate from the stage, when one of the "pedals" didn't completely open, and could create a problem of not being able to pull out the LM in future missions.

As seen here from Apollo 7, one of the "pedals" aren't opened completely.

No idea of what the problem is yet?

You have a lot of mods. FASA works by itself so I have no idea witch one is causing the conflict... Do you still have the FASA Spaces folder, if that is missing it will not load the IVA for the launch tower.

3.73

Added H1 engine.

Added Geiger Counter Science part

Made Gemini Shuttle easier to launch...

Lowered thrust of LR91 to 255 and weight to 2.15- Balancing for upcoming Apollo engines.

Made MOL cargo bay easier to place. Moved attach points around.

Removed Empty IVA, was causing problems with other mods.

Fixed MOL stack bays and Cap, can now attach to things.

Adjusted the Collision on the Big G pod. Should help with exploding Big G syndrome.

Tried and failed to fix X1 legs, they work but the animation is now broken...

Hey Frizz..I'm wondering if all of the issues you are having with the landing legs is a unity or 0.23 game related bug and not your animation skills?

The author of the AIES mod seems to be having similar issues with his landing legs while updating his mod to 0.23:

2 - the landing legs open normally, but have a problem with animation to retract that even I could not solve, this will be the only problem that I find to discover how to fix this I will be accommodating in as soon as possible.

Here's a little bug I hadn't taken the time to really notice before: The fairing on the Mercury Liquid fuel engine was never updated like the Mercury SRB engine.

Also, the H1 can not be worn as a hat.

Yes its off, I keep putting off fixing it for doing other things. I have to open up the model and re-export it to fix it right and just haven't had the time.

The unhatness of the H1 was a known limitation of the engine. That's when the Orbital Bertha Mini came about, makes for great hatting. Also doubles as a hair dryer.
