I am aware. I wasn't quite serious, I was just making a joke about how all he's really done lately has been behind-the-scenes optimisation, which while direly needed, isn't quite as cool as science or the new KSC.

Jokes are often hard to convey through text, same as sarcasm and other phrases that require a certain tone of voice to be understood.

His image wouldn't use any assets from the original image, merely concepts, such as the posing and general idea. It falls under fair use for him to imitate it.

That is why in the 1850s, Henry Denham came up with the irony mark. It was a backwards question mark you placed at the end of a sentence to imply that the sentence was to be taken as sarcasm, or other forms of irony. Sadly though, no-one uses it. Which is a shame, as it would be especially useful on the internet.

Well to recreate the image, unless you use assets of the game or the original art, I don't think there would be any issues, but to put that on a shirt and sell it, there probably would be. You can always contact [email protected] to ask about it though.

you're aware im in newzealand right, so shipping will probably be expensive for say a 90x52cm image, although i could just make it laminate rather than on a canvas
