Go to a manned capsule, Mk1 cockpit has the widest field of view, scroll to maximum zoom, then hold down the mouse wheel. You'll be able to see that the dot is, indeed, Minmus.

Jool is visible from Kerbin as well. Probably Eve, too, but I haven't seen it. Not sure about the smaller bodies.

Did you know, you can see Jool from LKO from any distance, and Eve and Duna if they are close to Kerbin.

I cant remember list

Wow, Jool's visible from Kerbin? I have never seen that. Something to look for I guess, or I could download one of the space telescope mods.

When I first saw the little dot that is Minmus, I played around with the map view trying to see if it was indeed that tiny moon. Several minutes later, my prediction was proven correct! (I felt so proud)

That is a pretty cool picture. I think that's one of my favorite features in KSP. Looking up in the sky and seeing the mun, and knowing you can go there. That it's not just some painting in a skybox, it's a goal and a reminder.

Whenever I'm building a plane, and Minimus is in the sky, its goes surprisingly well. Whenever Minimus is not out, many kerbles died fiery, horrible deaths.
