That launch tower needs to be able to fold up better than it currently does.

Why you say that? Its only 5tons and has no lift values so shape is no big deal. It was made like that to allow easy attachment for expanded building, I assure you it flys fine on top of a rocket

Yes but it looks absurd. :I Eh. I guess you have a point.

On another note, since textures are broken, wasn't there a way to fix this by changing something in the .cfg of the parts?

Same result here. I seem to get major lag instead of a total freeze though.

What other mods do you have installed right now?

EDIT: Got the following error from ingame debug list, it was spamed the liast full 3 times over...

[Exception]: NullReferanceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

No clue what this means.....guess if no one has any better ideas I will try new install of KSP and add just kethane and EPLP, if that works ill add my other mods one by one.....a better idea would be preferred though lol

Skykooler has stated repeatedly in this thread and the release one that the current model is a placeholder until a better one is made.

Have you tried a new save? I believe it has something to do with the deposit information that is already stored as now my output log is as follows:

OK, I just did clean install of KSP (v0.20.2.186) I have only Kethane v0.5 and Extraplanetary Launchpad v1.1 installed right now, and I am able to load ships with Kethane parts.

Im going to do a bit more testing with just these 2 mods, then I will start adding my other mods till I find the culprit. I will edit with any finding.

@Farnsworth, I did not try a new save, kinda wish I had now heh...though I did not see the error you are listing above. Just some rubbish about object reference not set. Mind you, I am mostly clueless when it comes to coding/modding....

Hah, I pulled half of my mods one by one before looking into this. The error has disappeared is what I was posting above, whereas in my previous post a page back when trying to load the deposit information I would receive a null reference error, it is now saving the deposit data.

This is with all of my current mods in and runs smooth so far, only a new save. I can also load vehicles used in the troublesome save without error.

I am not sure where the deposit data is stored though, I do not believe it is in the map files, so not sure how to fix it.

Honestly, I am not worried about trying to keep a save...I did clean install when 0.20 hit, and been waiting till all the stuff I like to use got update, so I didn't have but 4 flights...2 of those mostly for test....

I just want to make sure this mod and kethane work to full capacity. Mining and making industrial supply chain is most fun I have in KSP, kethane made that for me...this mod greatly expands on that...PLUS Launchpad anywhere! that's a winwin in my book

Ok got it. To run this mod with Kethane 0.5 you must delete any current "kethane.cfg" files from your saves folder. The modified kethane.dll will create a new one when you load a kethane part. This will create a new random seed and deposit information. I am not certain whether this changes location, density, or both, so you may need to delete your map files from the plugin data folder as well. I am running a quick scan now to see how the map turns out.

EDIT: It will create new maps for you, so you are better off deleting the old ones.

The bug known: I can not end of fight or go space center...

Another bug : Debris of ship can not be end of fight.... and my launchpad in Mum because fail maneuver have bug... impossible of load ship, buttons space center and end fight have no effect.

We were having the same issue last night. You have some kethane maps saved. you need to either delete those(no clue how) or start a new saved game.

I started a new save last night and everything is working properly

EDIT: Just got the last of my mods installed, everything is working as it should. Guess that confirms what Farnsworth found...was an issues with savegame having kethane data saved

2. Delete all maps from GameData\Kethane\Plugins\PluginData\MMIKethane. (Not necessary but the modified dll will create new maps. Keep the old ones if you want to revert to original 0.5)

3. Replace "MMIKethane.dll" from Kethane folder with one included with this mod.

4. Profit?

I have not been able to mine ore yet or have the animation for the auger work, but everything else does so far.

The update to Kethane 0.5 broke my auger. However, if you use the Kethane drill in an ore deposit, it will mine ore.

Whats going on with the deposits? The colors are throwing me off, not sure what Im looking at...

Also the deposits seems drastically sparse compared to just running kethane 0.50.

Even if that was all green (or whatever color kethane is now lol) it would be about 2/3 the amount Kerbin had before...is that intended??

I think the orange ones are Ore, to the metal on space build...
