Turbo pumped
Nice job, Tp! It looks like you didn't even use strut connectors. By the way, with the new aerodynamics, nosecones might improve your flight performance, but hey, your design works! The new areodynamics came as a surprice to me , i would definitively dropped the fairing later had i known .The rocket is hollow , all the struts and fuel lines are mounted inside around a spine of kerbodyne tanks . Xacktar
Technically not KSP, but today I went through and repaired every broken image link in the Kerb Kerman show. Is this a sign of something? Hmm... perhaps.

richfiles
I went boating. It goes pretty fast, and doesn't require SAS to remain stable, even at turns. 37 m/s here, and I'd hit 43 m/s... I didn't wanna go faster, since the impact rating of the cabin was 45 m/sIt has 4 of the small retractable landing wheels in the corners, so it's amphibious. I launched from the runway, rolled into the ocean, and powered my way to the island landing strip. I did more damage flipping it a few meters from the runway, than anything I did on the water. The bottom is lined with air intakes. It's also LOUD! It sounds like a constant stream of capsule splashdowns. Leaves and AMAZING wake too! ===================================================================================================================================================I finally managed to launch , record and send to youtube my 36 000 ton orbital super tanker - The mountain kinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koM-CKLwzJYThis is my brain, trying to grasp the epic scale of this... TokiTech
Couple days ago i loaded my retired space shuttle that was made into SSTO in 0.90 but didn't quite able to fly in 1.0+. I decided to modify the thing from old save instead rebuild from scratch, i think kraken did not approve.Coming out of time warp during sub-orbit ascend on map view, notice fuel infos are gone on resource window, switch to the craft and what the hell.. I run a quad 3.5 GHz i7, but only have an AMD Radeon HD 5770.With careful placement of struts and fuel tanks in a very specific order i managed to reduce the total part count to 690, but it still lags horribly on my old 2,66 GHz i5 (about 2 fps).I think the strut count is around 90 , luckily they are almost infinitly strong when placed correctly !I launched manually without any physics tweaks or any mods , luckily the rocket is surprisingly stable and reliable, the launch took almost an hour though ...I got a gtx 660 , so it shouldnt lag this much , maybe im running out of memory ? Jouni
My Dres mission arrived to its destination. The ship was a bit wobbly, but it was nothing that couldn't be handled with careful piloting.Next step: landing.Edit: It was a rainy day, so I landed as well.I think it's impossible to land outside the canyon on Dres. annallia
Some time ago a crazy dude walked into the KSC and said "Ya know what would be great? If I didn't have to go so damned far to visit Mun". While everyone was busy with the futile efforts of telling said person why they cant move Mun Jeb, Bill, and Bob said "We can get you something like that" and off they went. A few months later and...A mini base on a mini mun.

Geschosskopf
I discovered that asteroids die from 100% reentry heat very quickly. In fact, they die before delicate, totally exposed probes and their science bits and antennae.1. About 60km altitude, 3200m/s, asteroid on the verge.2. 43km altitude, asteroid explodes. Or rather, pops and releases spores like a dying Kerbal. Kerbals are obviously the product of panspermia, descended from ancient asteroid spores . Probe is on the verge.3. 30km, probe breaks up as the 1st central part in it explodes. Remaining pieces continue flying in formation and exploding like a string of firecrackers down to 25km.4. Only the 1.25m service bay survives the heat but it destroyed when it impacts the ground at 40m/s.

Esme
Having only recently obtqined a PC I can play KSP 1.04 on, I've been playing some sandbox and science games to get used to teh changes in aerodynamics since v0.9. Today, as well as managing to get something into orbit around Kerbin in my Science game for the first time, I also had my first play with aircraft. I decided to go gather science from teh desert over the mountains from KSC in a plane consisting of a cockpit, equipment bay, materials bay, fuel tank with teh oxidiser pumped out, jet engine at back, air intake on top of fuel tank between twin fixed tails, swept main wings up front, and a couple of adjustable canards acting as elevons, and finally the early type undercart. The equipment bay was stuffed with two SAS units, 6 batteries and a coupel of mystery goo containers. A battery on each wingtip, and three parachutes rounded the thing off. Takeoff was interesting, and at a rather high speed (110m/s), and sensing she had enough power, Jeb p[ulled her up and into a half-loop followed by a half roll and started a long slow climb up through the clouds. , levelling off at about 5500m. Descending once over the mountains, Jeb suddenly noticed something was missing. Like his elevons. Gentle test of teh response on SAS - yep, flyable, if careful. And so Jeb eased it down, made a surprisingly gentle landing followed by a very hairy high-speed taxi across huge swathes of undulating desert before rolling to a halt - and immediately calling for pickup. Doh! Sadly, on his second flight to teh desert, and injudicious late turn whilst descending resulted in a wingtip conmtacting the ground, a huge explosion, and Jeb... well, we have him marked as 'location temporarily uncertain'. Sigh... :-}
koyoti
Today I finished work on the first of my 'Explorer' series of modular landers. Hopefully designed to be able to land on any planet or moon that it's possible to land on.One fly in the ointment however was when the documents came back from the patent office there was much laughter amongst the employees after a 'spelling mistake' was noticed. So tomorrow I will be testing the first in my series of 'Exploder' modular landers and when I find out who is responsible, they will be making the first test flight.Edit: Spelling Edited July 12, 2015 by koyoti

Mikki
I have assembled a selfsustaining System Exploration Ship, i want to do a mission report in the Fan Works Thread later. It can carry 16 Kerbals, a sience Lab, some experiments, it has two landers on board, two satellites for Ore detection, a Ore converter and a large lander capable of mining any smaller body in the Kerbol system, and lift the ore back to the mothership to generate endless amounts of delta V during the Journey. Its main propulsion are 12 L-VNs, and 3 Poodles for the mining Lander. Its around or under 400 parts all in all, stock careergame...I grabbed an old design and was surprised that it could have been lifted to orbit!Final delivery of two satellites for ore detection, Bill is happy again, anything works fine until now...Main Goal of this Mission: detect and flag as many as possible highyield mininggrounds in the Kerbol System. And get some sience by this occasion... first stop Minmus, testflight and mining test, Crew pickup.

joekidd1992
I went to Ike, landed, and came back. And I didn't use Mechjeb to plot the courses even though I have it installed.I have watched some Scott Manley videos, though and that helped me with the angle needed to get to the Duna SOI and I also used a ship that I refueled at Minmus. A 3 man mission, but only 1 walked on Ike and planted a flag. Good ole' Jebediah was the lucky Kerbalnaut. Then I promptly forgot the surface sample and eva report stored in the landing capsule. And that was my first manned mission outside of the Kerbin sphere of influence. mdkendall
Launching my mining rig to Minmus not going as smoothly as planned. Still, at least the girls survived. They can try again when I have attached moar boosters. And possibly struts. And increased the TWR on the pad. And perhaps added some more fins. And maybe reduced the size of the fairing a bit. And probably added deploying the fairing to the Abort action group, because I don't think their parachutes did them much good this time, what with being inside it. So, a minor redesign required.
