What did you do in KSP1 today?

Edit:All prior planes have ended up as SSTO(single stage to ocean)

This quote made me happy.

I was quite pleased with my successful Mun landing and jeb return; my first in career, and CERTAINLY the lowest economic footprint. 200+ science points, and I think I forgot my crew report.

Twas delightful.

Installed Protractor and Kerbal Alarm Clock today. Brings my mod count up to four (was three, lost one when Subassembly became stock, added these two). Reinstalled KER from scratch and it's working normally now.

Figured out a viable delivery method for my Hellfury Rover, made the final tweaks and did some boilerplate testing. I think it's ready for me to stick on a booster and send to the Mün. Just hoping the delivery method developed on Kerbin doesn't send the thing flying into Münar orbit...

Developed a long-range science probe and booster. The probe itself has something like 6,000 m/s of delta-V. Haven't decided where to send it yet.

Farted around with my Zenith substitutes. Tried to add RCS to one I'd already built; that didn't end so well.

Launched my first Space Station! Then docked 2 modules to it, my first docking maneuvers ever!

Docking a multi-point coupler for future modules.

Docked!

Adding a "Control" Module, basically an extra SAS, more batteries, and a large RCS Mono-propellant Tank for the station to use and re-fuel craft.

Took my LKO Station, detached some bits, attched some engines and landed it on the mun.

It looks tilted because it's panned with MMB but I've managed to find one poly on the mun which was perfectly alligned to space and land on it with 10 units of liquidfuel remaining.

Weightlifting on Eve

Not much fuel left :)

Better than it looks, I just needed 3 m/s to get Pe up to 98 km but I need to change the orbit of the mothership to reach it.

The boxes are for sample returns and eva reports. lander had made it up with plenty of fuel however I did an mistake then circulating.

I dropped another Munar lander on the Mun. This one lost 1/3rd of it in an incident, but still works. The rover, when detached, decided it would be awesome to drive 2km down hill while my kerbanaut tried to land atop it and get in the driver seat. I finally managed to stop the thing by having it run the kerbil's head over and flip the rover. However, when trying to flip it back over the battery and RTG blew up.

Sent a "habitat lander" to the Mun for the Constellation challenge. Parked it near the NAM. Thinking about calling the area a base once everything's said and done there; I have enough rovers down there now to open up a used car lot.

Tried to get the next phase of that challenge under way by docking a lander to a capsule in Kerbin orbit. Orbits of both were too eccentric and I overshot, so I'll have to try again on both launches.

Saved Jeb from the mun today.

First Kerbal on the mun, but without enough fuel to get home:

landed approximatly 500meters away from jeb (just for safety reasons ;-) ). Jeb was pretty happy to see some other kerbals after lotsof days alone on the mun.

reentry, forgot to pack the solarpanels. jeb was the only one who was amused.

safe landing, and awesome look at the moon in the dawn on Kerbin.

The first refueling depot I built in LKO was too part-expensive and very laggy. It was designed to accomodate 16 large orange fuel tanks as well as a spacestation, but the framerate hunger is intolerable even with only 8. So I spent an hour last night transferring four of them to my new space station, and today I'll get the other four. I feel accomplishmenty for only only being able to do that so well, but also doing it by managing two tanks at once during the transfer process, while station-keeping both the old and new stations. I'll have screenies up later.

Parked few kerbonauts to LKO ready for going explore Mün. Pressed alt+f4 after watching how the Mun-Lander's parts made

... (what if KSP starts play music like that when something goes crashboombang  )

This was one of those days when all goes ok, just enough fuel for reaching certain waypoints, kerbals smiling (Yep-Jeb of course and others too), rockets' engines are pointing to right direction, etc... except when is it time to use last stage for landing on Mun, plan to remove almost 500 m/s speed at altitude 500 m. Lander spun out of control. After sometime spinning was too fast for this and attempt to timing engine burns to return orbit failed...

Finished designing a new 5-Kerbal Command Module. Not a big feat perhaps, but it did take a lot of time and testing. It now features a small service module with a D-V of some 600 m/s, RCS, plenty of batteries, a detacheable heat shield, parachutes and soft-landing engines. All that enables it to survive a controlled or ballistic reentry from high Kerbin orbit. With some added luck, the Kerbals inside might survive too!
