Jerbear
NASA should finance the development of a mod.Man, NASA can't even afford to launch our own astronauts into space right now.
Procyon
I was thinking that they didn't have anything else they are spending money on right now. why not?

technicalfool
Don't forget equating downloading mechjeb and hitting "execute" to spending ages perfecting the software for your rocket and carefully programming the flight path so your multi-million dollar real life rocket doesn't mess up.If Ascent Autopilot works perfectly for you without tuning it to the particular rocket stack, you've been damned lucky!Been a while since I used that part of Mechjeb, but it seemed every time I did it would drive the engines to within a hair's breadth of blowing up, and then start spinning in entirely the wrong direction once near orbit. Sure, you can just download and hit "execute", but that's hardly going to give you an efficient launch. Flixxbeatz
I'm sure they would surely like it - talk about designing and launching rockets at your heart's desire without budget restraints and other complex shenanigans

ThePyrateCaptain
I heard that NASA wanted to try the game out, but had to settle for the demo. Couldn't afford the game.
MK3424
From what i knew they work on new rocket the SLS that will be even more powerful than Saturn V No wonder: they are modifying the original F1 engines to become the F1/B.
