Hehe, seems like everyone enjoyed the wonderful destruction. I'm kinda tempted to build a militarized module for the science station, to ensure those pesky fuel depot folk don't get any fancy ideas. :D

Anyways, a couple of quick updates. Unfortunately, Hoojiwana had to drop out :( Goose should still be going up next, I'll speak to him asap to confirm that, after which we have Spyritdragon and myself. And then we're done with this phase of the project, whee! So that just leaves the decision for where we're going next. I believe there was some common interest in doing the Minmus ground base/orbiting station combo, which sounds like a great idea to me! Any other suggestions? I'll make a final decision once the last module for our current stations goes up.

Im still in favor of the base + orbital service station combo. Will keep individual part counts down too.

Also, after Goose puts up his module, i'll put up mine, i have a... project in mind. It shouldn't harm the science station. I'm not so sure about the universe though - who knows what else Seelorf comes up with, once he notices whats going on.

Ill do my module quickly after Goose, then i'll post the persistance file so you can get to work, and i can work individually on my video while the project still continues. If it turns out the way i hope it will, it'll be awesome.

Heres a hint:

It involes my trusty Seelorf, and i'll probably put Kirrim in it too if Cooly agrees.

My Star Trek knowledge is a bit lacking, but that's a Klingon Bird of Prey, isn't it? Not sure where the image is from, though. Still, can't wait to see what you're comin' up with!

was on page 3, update on status of next vid?

The next one should be coming out soon. I spoke to Goose yesterday and he was working on his module. By the way, I hope it's cool with everyone, I allowed Goose to build a separate thing from both the stations. I know it kinda goes against the rules, so I do apologize for that, but it will be awesome enough to make up for it! I figured it would be good publicity for the project if we had our biggest YouTuber do something a little special.

This also means that there might be some space left for more modules. When it comes around to me, I'll take a look at the stations and see how we're doing on the parts' count. So if anyone's interested in maybe putting up another module, lemme know down below and we'll see if we can work something out.

If you have parts leftover you need to fill, i had two ideas other than my mass relay i skipped over. First my massive fuel tank, which i dont think we'll need.

But more usefully, second, i repurposed my "Mission Minmus" Mun and Minmus lander to be an orbital fuel shuttle. I can bring it back to... hopefully 20 parts. Maybe 25. Itll hold a full orange tank of fuel - possibly more if i go over 20. It carries 3 crew, remote operatable, 5k battery with 2 small panels for emergencies, NERVA powered and supports twin-ring RCS for docking. Adaptable to 4 crewmembers depending on wether you want a std or a sr clampotron on it. Sadly, current design does support both on easily dockable positions in one cravt. Still, its awesome for 20 parts.

Cool, thanks for volunteering, guys! I'll keep that in mind after I look at the parts count. I'm currently not having any framerate issues with either of the stations, but I've got a pretty beefy computer. What's the performance like for everyone else?

This is the lander i'd be repurposing. The five LV-909's, including the two FL-T200 tanks and four struts used to suspend two of them, will be removed and replaced with two NERVA's. The four landing legs as well as the decoupler and parachutes will also be gotten rid of - its meant to be a fuel tug, and im removing safe reentry capabilities in favour of less parts. A few more tanks can be added if needed, or i could change one or two of them to oranges.

Hope you like it :-)

Happy to hear that people aren't really having lag issues. What about those on lower end systems? I don't want to add any more modules if not everyone can get a chance to play around with it.

And the orbital shuttle idea sounds good, Spyritdragon! It'll be useful to have for any crew/fuel transfers or whatever other adventures those crazy Kerbals will get up to.

Also, I was thinking about making an escape module, so hopefully I should have that whole safe re-entry thing covered :)

Yeah, it's totally alright if you launch your module now, we can merge after. Goose's video should be up soon. I know I've said that before, but it's true! :P Just spoke to him again a couple of days ago and things are going well, there was just an unexpected delay.

Each craft has a seperate identification within the persistance folder. I'll either launch a small sattelite probe into orbit / wherever Goose's construction is, which will then be registered in the persistence file, then replace

the probe's persistance entry with Goose's construction. Or i'll just take my copy of the station, which could get quite lengthy though, and copy it into Goose's persistance file.
