That looks very good. BTW, do the thrusters on the turntable work? After Infernal Robotics is fixed, it'd be nice to be able to spin the thing up, and then do a "yo-yo despin". Both the free-rotating turntable and the yo-yos can be done with IR, though I don't know if moving the latter would affect the stage's inertia properly.

Thrusters on the turntable are separate parts, so they could, in theory, work!

I don't know what the merits of the Yo-yo de-spin would be, I don't think that it really would make much sense to have something like that, especially since KSP doesn't simulate that far into real world physics to necessitate having such a thing. But, if you guys want me to animate something like that, I don't see why I couldn't animate the yo-yo's extending out!

Thanks everybody!

Progress is probably gonna be very slow this weekend/next weekend due to a wedding I have to attend and then finals next week!

If I get time to get anything done ill be sure to update this as it comes! Just beat with us for the next week or so!

Afterwards, we shall revisit when I can get a version out for a preview or something!

In the meantime, y'all should check out KartoffelKuchen's mod! Give him the same support you've given us!

To really make it work, it'd have to be more than just an animation. It'd have to use Infernal Robotics plugin (once that's fixed). Each yo-yo would have to be a separate part, with COM in the weight, and a thin cable that would extend that weight would have to be the attachment point. If moving things around with IR causes MOI to change then maybe, just maybe, this could work.

Ok, getting back to modelling these beasts! I've got Delta II and Atlas V done now, just going to work on Delta IV, and We'll be in business!!!

I think that those hydrazine tanks shouldn't be red. IIRC, they were white, red is just protective covering. Otherwise, looks fine, though textures seem a little undetailed.

Haha, I appreciate it man.

I just wish I had the proper time to devote to this anymore.

However, I've just accepted a position at P&W, and now I'm going to be quite busy. I've sent the models that I had to Dragon01 and Dolin12, and they have my permission to modify them or do whatever they want with them. I'm not going to pitch a fit if they release them, it's whatevs...

Sorry I couldn't figure out Unity and everything for you guys. Hopefully the next guy can. Sorry folks!

Sorry to ask this, but when I install and then try to load the craft file, the files cannot be loaded because of "missing or invalid" parts. I have installed the folder in the Game Data folder, I have the craft files, but the models I cannot load in Career Mode. I've also activated the parts in the tech tree, so I'm not sure why it will not work.

Any thoughts?

You sure you added TechRequired = ******** what ever on all the parts just try'ed it and they all loaded.

Not much progress, unfortunately. Dolin seems to have disappeared. I'll look for another converter, the models are pretty good now.
