When I loaded 4 of my 5 Kerbals aboard the Space Station to the hitchhiker module it made me laugh!

Look at their faces.

Yes, it is fun, particularly when the crew is on opposite ends of the spectrum between 'What is happening to me!?' and 'This... is... awesome!'.

I'm surprised at how much I like the Kerbals. I'm always looking at their faces when I'm playing..and almost always laughing when something happens. For example, Jeb was in a rocket that was about to blow up. It did. Jeb was not happy because he was about to die. So I ejected him out of the cockpit a few miles up , and suddenly he's happy again?!? Even tough he's about to die still. I guess dying in a capsule is worse then free falling head first hahaha.

They actually often survive huge falls onto their heads if they actually it land. If they hit water, they never survive.

had one fall from the space station, set in a 300km altitude orbit, used his jetpack to break the orbit and the little he had left to slow down a bit once i was in the atmosphere... bastard lived

That is the best thing about the kerbals : even though they seem to be scared s**tless, they never pass up the opportunity to go into space and explore it just because, unlike a certain species living on the third planet from the sun...
