Those clips are 'shopped because nobody still alive actually knows what the damn thing looked like. It was incredibly classified, and as you mentioned, flew all of twice. The Russians didn't really understand resonance frequencies at the time, and wouldn't you know it, the plane resonated at the exact same frequency that the engines ran at

The second aircraft also has an interesting feature, an pod with two engines on top for extra power. I thought it was an fighter plane

The engine pod was added after it was build as it was underpowered.

In it's first and only flight, it plowed into the ground so hard the the test pilot was probably the first person to break the sound barrier. I'd question whether that constitutes even 'kinda' working.

A matter of definition, my first probe to Moho did an 6Km/s kinda landing.

Did not really understood the point of meeting the Moho at Pe to minimize relative speed.
