Blue button keeps disappearing

The blue button that lets you unlock new parts of the tech tree for science points keeps disappearing. I have 113 points. Am I missing something?

OP, how much of the tech tree have you unlocked so far?

The blue button only appears when you click on a tree node that hasn't been unlocked yet. It doesn't appear when clicking on unlocked nodes, because there's nothing to unlock there.

Here's what I mean:

As you can see, I've unlocked Electronics and Advanced Flight Control and I have more than enough science points. And I've seen the option to unlock it there before.

And here it is after I reload the game:

New save?

Copy over KSP to another computer?

Redownload KSP?

Googling it?

Anything else?

Also, where is your KSP folder located?

Are you running in windowed mode, I know that has caused problems for others because the GUI doesn't seem to scale properly sometimes leaving the button offscreen

Created a new Career save, same problem. Only this time it takes a ton of reloads before it works.

Haven't tried it on a new computer, I like my current one.

Redownload, done several times while trying to install mods.

Why Google when the forums are right here?

I've tried both fullscreen and window modes; it makes no difference.

I'm on a Mac, if that makes any difference.

Yeah it looks to me like the blue button is off the bottom of the screen. Look in your second shot the amount of whitespace (well, greyspace) between the button and the "Electrics" icon. That's about the same amount of space between the "Electrics" icon and the bottom of the screen in your first image.

I also notice that in your first image, everything is a normal size and in the 2nd, stuff is squished vertically. I assume you didn't doctor the images.

I'd report this as a bug.
