Is there a mod that adds MFD screens or more detailed working cockpits?

I've been looking all over and haven't found any yet. I'd really love to have lots of information we have in orbital view, when we're sitting in the Kerbal spacecraft seat.

inside their own cockpits there is (was, afaik) a somewhat clever little MFD with buttons that actually do stuff...

unless something's changed and the author perhaps removed it for bug fixing's sake - dunno

There is a mod that adds laptop like models inside the stock cockpits that uses B9's MFD.

I have to search for it because it was posted a while ago on spaceport.

It's from Firespiter not from B9, B9 just borrows it.

The Firespitter MFD has recently been disabled in the plugin because it turned out that creating 400+ transparent textures kills some GPUs. That was the only MFD implementation except the one that is in the works for Kerbin Mini Orbiter, and until Snjo figures out some other way to display text on MFDs in Firespitter, you can assume that no cockpits have working MFDs.

"Multi-Function Display". I.e. instead of numerous individual devices each showing only one value, you get a proper screen, typically switchable between multiple sets of data values, and sometimes completely configurable.

ALCOR mod has multiple fully functional MFD displays including docking cameras and navballs, search for rasta prop monitors.

Hoping someone will implement it into the b9 aerospace cockpits i.e. the shuttle, would be incredible!

Made me laugh. Actually, Mihara (2 posts above yours) recently made the RasterPropMonitor, which is used by ALCOR, and linked it in his sig.

Also, this may be evil thread necroing, so don't blame me if the mods come at us with bibles and crosses.
