ARDUINO UNO(LOW POLY) (click to view in 3D)

So.. My extinguisher project has been almost finished. I'm now starting another project-KERDUINO.

Can be sound like somewhat enormous project but What I'm doing now is just modeling a tiny POD. So that you can alter the control axis without dull-big pods and make a cool looking missiles or smart bombs.

Like you see above, Modeling has been finished but somehow KSP is not loading my model. It only loads texture.

http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55678-My-model-is-not-loading-help%21

on this thread, I asked for help, however I wanna get some help quickly..

Is there anybody who can help me?... I'm really becoming depressed..

Doesn't make a lot of sense that it would use more power. What does make sense is, it should provide absolutely no torque.

If you want to use it with kOS, just add to its config:

MODULE
{
name = kOSProcessor
}

You could even put that in by default. It's harmless and is just ignored if kOS is not installed.

This is a really fun & quirky addition. :D

I think for some game balance, since the part is small and very convenient to add, maybe it could use much more power than other similar systems?

It was planned not to use much power(like high-tech LED doesn't consume much power but brighter than bulb) and having no toque.

Balancing.. hmm i'm not squad but just a noob modeler. I've never thought about it..

  • 5 weeks later...

would be cool if it emulated the atmega core (only 135 instructions). then you could upload arduino sketches to the ingame processor. then have it interface with in game sensors, transceivers, and other parts.

You have something small, lightweight, highly capable, and cheap. If you make it appear sufficiently late in the tech tree, it shouldn't unbalance the game.

Don't forget, the smart phone you may have in your pocket likely has more computing power than all of NASA had during the Apollo program. Kerbals are starting off with the equivalent of early atomic-age tech. If something as capable as Arduino were available back then, it would have cost millions of dollars and been as big as a bus. But later on, as they develop other technologies, smaller devices become reasonable.
