rbray89
One thing I've always been confused by:In the OP, you say we should delete BoulderCo before installing and might need to reinstall ATM. Fair enough, but to reinstall ATM, we should delete BoulderCo beforehand and so we may have to re-install EVE. Ok, but I'll need to delete BoulderCo before I do that and then reinstall ATM. You see where I'm getting confused at? I have to ignore one of the instructions in order to install both.Haha, I really didn't give much thought into where my plugins would go, and really should of thought about it more. They just need to be cleanly installed due to the separation of the plugins from content/configs.Once that is done, everything is good, and the new versions of the two mods can just be installed by over the old versions without issue. pauldbk99
Just download and put the 'BoulderCo' folder in GameData. Easy as that. Not working for me
RuBisCO
So just to throw this out there: could you make 'particles' files selectable per layer in the configs? I have sort of been waiting on that, I tried modifying the .dll directly with *some* success, again very little programing experience here. It would be nice to have more then just 3 particle types and have different layers use different particles.
smunisto
RuBisCO and Rbray - can we still use the Duna sandstorm in it's version from the first post, or did 7-2 bring some changes to how configs work?

skykooler
Made a little comparison video to help build up hype for the new release of BA.(Also because there really are no videos I made of it) Sure, here you go.http://imgur.com/a/ADSnzSo, Mars actually has an atmosphere that's faintly blue; it's just the planet's strongly red surface and dust storms that make the planet red. But the horizon is blue. Could we have that for Duna?

Hurry- Starfish!
This has nothing to do with clouds and city lights, but I'm hoping it might be relatively easy to implement: Would it be possible to make the ocean surface visible from below when the camera is submerged? It would be a great enhancement for any user of the submarine mod, and for anyone looking out of IVA windows on splashed vessels or water bases. rbray89
Yay another update ! Thanks !So If I understand correctly, I can organize the configs as such : http://i.imgur.com/8Gz1qCs.jpgExactly. It will show up in the GUI as a new config file. For now, there is no way to ADD new configs through the gui, but you can cycle through and edit them that way. vanlock
thanks, so all i'm hoping now is that each contributor won't make changes that overlap each other. Also it would be best if each creates a cfg with only his/her changes.f

If they make a pack to replace the defaults, then they should specify in the instructions to delete the original config file (or overlap it) but for other effects (atmosphere, etc) they should have separate config files. Jethro Bodine
As suggested by vanlock, a humble request for RuBisCO and Thesonicgalaxy (and anyone else releasing custom packs for EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements)...Would you please consider including a separate .txt file of *just* the additions/modifications you've made, or at least //comment your changes extensively? It would make it much easier for those of us merging different packs into our own custom settings file. Thanks!

Thesonicgalaxy
Haha, glad to hear it is working well for you! Only thing I ask for now, is the ability to move layers around in the ALT+N menu. It can be a small pain to remove and re add layers simply to move them around. It's not a huge problem, but would a nice thing to add in a future release.Love your mod rbray, you're the best! Zidane
Hello fellow kerbalsI've run into an issue and i apologize if it has been addressed already, however in a thread 233 pages long and a sucky search function, not even google helped this time. So here's the thing, when on the dark side of the planet the city lights seem to have weird shapes over them. It throws off a weird flickering vibe. The clouds are fine though.I'm going at half res, with aggressive module of the texture compression mod. Could it be that textures are overcompressed and not being processed correctly? Thanks so much for any input.Update:Did some troubleshooting. Disabled half res textures, still the same. Maybe not enough memory then. Then i removed B9 from the gamedata, no good. I also changed the rendering quality few levels down and still the same weird shapes. KyleofKerbin
Can you go into KSP_data and post your output_log.txt file please? It should tell me everything I need to know. Here it is:Heheh, I'm not posting something that is gonna take up like 50 pages. Is there a way to compress it into something smaller? And also, I took your mod out of my KSP; it wouldn't let me start a new game when I had it originally. Sorry.
