The part license allow for distribution of the part so if I work on a new gimbal we could use them with it and an MM patch. I'm still hoping to get a reply...

I had an exchange with dtobi about the gimbal module but I did not get a final word. Now his PM box is full, so I can't ask him anything more. I'll wait mid week for a reply and if I don't get anything I'll most likely work on a new gimbal myself...

*Edit: Oh never mind, I missed Shnoo's post. But is it possible for me to get the OMS engines so I can rotate the model a little to fit them in with the space shuttle model I'm working on right now?

dtobi replied and I now have his blessing for taking over this and ColdRockets. We are looking into changing the thread owner.

Short term change will be an official build of km_gimbal for .25 and some feature I worked on. Next will most likely be the integration of my auto gimbal code in there.

Hi! Can you coordinate with sarbian? He would like to take over KM Gimbal but I believe that the continuation of the parts and the things aroiund the gimbal code are just as important. I'd love to see it continued as a whole. If you are willing to do that, I belive there sould be some space besides Sarbian's work.

Sarbian do you think that you would be able to make the roll gimbal be on a different constraint level to the pitch/yaw gimbal? I find that as it stands the current roll gimbal is over aggressive and often leads to a loss of control on ascent during roll program.

Also, monopro OMS engines?

For monoprop oms engines you might want to try RealFuels with Stockalike configs, it adds what you want (amongst thousands of other great things)

So, I installed this awesome mod, but none of the engines seem to gimbal.

Nevermind, seems like gimbaling is a major issue.

With 0.25 if you have downloaded the 0.24 version the gui in the editor and the gimbal ist bust, not existing, not in function, (for me) call it like you prefer.

Simple it does not work in 0.25.

The sparklers comes with this mod. You'll find them under the utility tab once the mod is installed.

They should be on as you start on the launchpad. If not, make sure you've deleted any prior versions of the mod before you install the latest version. Also make sure you've got the base folder as it is required for common plugin functionality.

Yep, you can pitch-trim and yaw-trim.

Im glad this mod is going to be maintained. With the new Mk3 parts this mod will be extremely useful. Actually since the MK3 parts are so pretty and will be used a lot now, I feel engines and tanks like this should be stock or at least considered for stock.

I agree, this should be stock stuff. It is a shame its not.

I am assuming the plugin was broken by the update? I'm in the middle of .90 mod install, and had almost forgot about KM engines. Just checking in to see if anyone had tested it yet.
