Wow. I have just thought one up that I think is really good, but damn, that's pretty good. (It will probably ruin this thread, as almost no-one would have even the slightest clue as to what it refers to)

I'd have to say Telephone wires/poles? Power Lines?

Figured it out.

Its wires (the normal ones for electricity)

I am [usually] thin and weak, yet I can traverse afar. (Wires are weak and fragile, yet they can go for many miles.)

Even when I am bound, I can still speak. (You bundle 'em up, though they still Work.

I am found everywhere, yet nobody wants to see me. (They are everywhere, but people do not like the look of em.

Even when I can't take the heat, I can still give my message. (Not sure about this one )

A vital blood flows through me, but I have no heart. (That electricity, duh)

What am I?

New one:

I am the whole, yet I am only a part.

Whitout me you would be blind, deaf and numb.

I decipher, and give meaning to Chaos.

I am you, yet you are not me.

Whitout me you would not live.

I am weak, hidden away in pale Amor.

You got it, but I like Danish_Savage's answer better:

What happened to my old riddle when I solved the lightbulb problem? No one solved it.

If I can change my old riddle, here's the old one:

There is a 1 meter long stick. There are 100 ants on it that walk one meter a second. How long will it take for ALL the ants to fall off the stick? Assume that the ants don't have their magical sticking-to-surfaces ability.

No idea. I think you disappeared and we moved on. We can't wait for too long, especially in this forum section.

Now...

Firstly, three people agreed on that answer before you, so you don't get to claim it's your win by any measure.

Secondly, follow the rules, please. The OP hasn't got rules just for you to ignore them. Nobody gets to give out a new riddle until the person who asked it has confirmed it is solved.

But far away from you I am.

Full of water I indeed am,

But there is still the possibility of land.

Being always locked into facing my parent,

One side is always night and the other is always shrouded by daylight.

Reach me now you cannot,

But who knows,

One day, you may hope to reach me.

Who am I?

Also, Dagobah maybeeeee? :-D Dunno bout the tidal locking, but it makes sense. Sort of.

To have that right, you should be the one to guess the riddle that where before, which in this case where mine.

Therefore it was Lord Potato's right to make the next riddle, so I think we should wait for him.

We could however have your riddle around as a bonus thing, so that guessing it gives a kudos, but doesn't give the guesser right to post a new one.

(i mean c not g and c is tidally locked)

Edit: this could also be the Moon in the future if we terraform it or it could even be Titan or Europa which are also Tidally locked

Also this high gravity on Gliese 581c really sucks

I have no life in the dark

But in the light I have meaning.

I am used by those profound in thought

And by the vainest human being.

I am used to see faraway places

And things that are near in distance.

I can be used to see deep into the past
