Flags shouldn't count as flights

My space program says I have over 20 flights, but in reality about 95% are those are flags on the Mun or Minmus. This seems to clutter my active flights menu (yes I know you can sort by category).

Anyway what I'm suggesting is for flags not to be counted into the total number of flights, but they should still be in-game obviously. Just so I know how many actual flights I have going on and not little flags that don't do anything. That's it really

"Flights" is a misnomer anyway. I have about 10 probes landed, a couple bases, 3 or 4 flags, and maybe 4 ships in the air. I should have 4 "flights" but in fact I have almost 20.

I agree with your specific point, though. Flags should be a special, unselected-by-default category like debris.

I agree with this 100%. I think everything that's landed/solidly grounded/etc should be in a different category. *places two cents on table*

I agree completely, but why on Earth did you plant 19 flags on the Mun and Minmus?

Just from career mode missions, I like to see where I've been so I don't get old data, and it's cool to fly over and see the little souvenirs I left behind haha.

Absolutely agree. Also, they should start off invisible in map mode, like Debris already is.

id be happy if you just stored the state of the filters in the save file. so that they stay as i set them when i exit and return.

Instead of this, maybe we can simply have a way to hide "flights" in the map view/tracking station. I don't want to see abandoned bases either...
