Let me commend you on your work, this is excellent stuff! I'm already pushing the memory ceiling or I'd definitely pursue this. Amazing, this is the first thing I'll look if KSP ever overcomes its memory issues.

So, I got to Serious with liquid fuel. Not that hard. Don't see why people are saying "Interstellar Mod to the Rescue!"

Because I don't want to send my kerbals on a trip that's 8 years each way. Therefore KSPI. Serious shouldn't require a lot of extra fuel relative to Sentar, but it sure is a long trip.

It dosen't have science, as far as I know.

I sent a copy of my Jool probe payload to Sentar when the mod first came out. I don't recall the exact figures offhand, but I'm fairly sure I got science. Unless something's changed.

I'd like to see this planet named Cite in this mod, Go here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/42625-Possible-Planet-Additions-%28Revised%29

Like this: planet_cite_by_samio85-d5jrhp3.png

cite_surface_by_samio85-d68trr4.png\

And its moon would be this: crato_by_samio85-d5jgrvq.png

Hope to see this in the mod! I give credit to Samio for the pictures. Also maybe it would be a new planet orbiting serious!

It would be damn awesome to create a binary system with Kerbol and Serious. From my understanding though that would mean the planets would have to be much further out. Don't planets in binary systems orbit the barycenter and not the individual stars?

The planets can orbit the barycentre of both stars, or could orbit just one of the stars. I don't believe any binary systems have been found where both are the case - depends on the distance between the stars I think.

Hmph. In the first version, atleast, it didn't have science. Only 0.0 science "something tells me these are not the results you are looking for"

From my understanding of the science resource CFG file, all the varying experiments (Air sample, seismic reading, crew report, etc), all have exactly the same initial value for all places (except kerbin which is lower). I have done a mission to Erin and received as much science as I did when I took the same lander to laythe. So as far as I'm aware, there is as much actual science in the new planets, but the science messages are the same as the planet that Krag based his planets on( I am not sure completely about this one... I only read half of the messages...)

If it gives 0 science and says that this is not what your looking for... I have only experienced this in sandbox mode.

You can move any of the bodies that you have in that load of the game with Hyperedit. However if you want the changes to be slightly more permanent, you can edit the CFG files of some of the moons. Some will say in comments inside the file weather the planet is configurable on that release or not. The moons of sentar that are configurable inside the cfg files include Skelton, Thud, and Erin. Pock(Not actually a moon of Sentar....) and Ringle are not configurable. I have not looked for more than 30 seconds at the source code so I am not certain why they are not configurable, but I am sure that Krag and anyone who has looked and understood the source code will be able to explain it.

So uh can anyone explain why the sun is coming from the wrong direction?

EDIT:

Orbiting inside Flollop's map view object?

This is the most boring planet.

EDIT2:

Oh the scaling issue is because I used Tylo as a template instead of Minmus.

Fixed the terrain too.
