Year 619: Kerbals discover that metal in certain shapes can float, leading to a huge breakthrough in nautical technology and transportation. This discovery was brought about in an unfortunate incident involving a table, five rockets, and an explosive potato.

Year 620: after their exploratory nautical breakthrough, they discover that they can change the directions of the water with a small rudder. They then attempt to apply this technology to aerospace engineering. They also find that the newly discovered potato can be eaten.

625: First manned orbital if Minmus. And first unmanned leave of Kerbin's SOI.

They didn't even get into orbit yet...

Anyway, Year 626:

Kerbals discover math, and how quadratic equations can be applied to physics. They also find that aforementioned baked potato can be used as glue to hold parts together.

Year 628: Using their so-called "math," the first "official," legal, governmentally-sanctioned successful attainment of orbit is officially recorded into the official record books. Obviously no Kerbal is ever bored enough to read those though, so entertainment companies begin development of a cartoon about it.

554: First GPS-navigated autopilot rocket, it went to an orbit around minmus, and sent a probe that landed on surface.

You posted it :)

Anyways, Year 640: Kerbals attempt a Manned Minmus landing. The rocket gets damaged in orbit. To cover up the accident, Kerbal engineers call it 'Space station Fractured'.

Ahh! I didn't even remember that is aid this :D

645: Another manned minmus landing try. this one got into orbit, but had not enough fuel to land, astronauts only could come back to kerbin. Some guy called "Sparag Kerman" invented asparagus rocket fuel system.

645: About two days after the invention of asparagus staging, all existing rocket fuel and metal production facilities run out of raw materials and have to shut down. Numerous Kerbals faced the prospect of losing their jobs, and the future looked bleak for Kerbal space exploration, unless someone found more ore deposits or invented a new form of fuel.

year 653: With the continuing shortage of fuels, a brilliant kerbal names Hydrol Essis has a not so bright idea, and accidentally comes up with the kerbal unconstituter. His younger brother - being the kerbal that he is - provokes Hydrol into pushing him into the ore refinery that Hydrol is working on. Lo and behold, kethane come flowing out the other side.

654: Kethane is found that it can be splitted into hydrogen, oxygen, and monpropellant. Kerbals try to convert into fuel, and somehow they did, and they noticed that when they liquidize the hydrogen (strange they didn't think of it before), more can fit in the same size!

Year 655: Late at night, the bored Kerbal interns go to the VAB and get a LV-1 and watch the funny light effects when the flame is passed through a fan. They discover it's much more fuel efficient than a rocket motor and they call it a Fan Engine. The professional engineers want to counter this somehow in order to show them whose boss...
