Purely Electric Helicopter

I shared this on Reddit, and thought I may as well share it here as well. It's a helicopter getting all its lift from a rotor powered by rover wheels. It weighs in at 64 tons, and has a top speed around 2m/s.

It runs basically forever. If you're fighting a lot with the reaction wheels power dips a bit... but if you're OK spinning a bit, you can regain the power.

I was thinking if this could be used for eve return missions but carrying that large payload in high gravity would be very hard.

If you could get this to fly at all in eve it could be very usefull

Nice. I don't have KSP installed right now but I'm curious: how did you get the rover wheels to all go in the same direction relative to the rotation? I tried to make a rotor powered by rover wheels once but no matter what I tried the wheels on either side of the central axis wanted to go in the same direction relative to the craft (ie, the way you'd normally want on a rover).
