Rune
Me Jim? I don't recall saying anything about the bay doors..Yup, I remembered a comment of yours to the effect that it would be cooler if the bay doors didn't clip as they open up (might not be about one of my builds, actually, memory is funny that way). In any case, the memory of the comment during the build is what actually made me put the "wings" a bit further up, and brought those interstellar-lander-like "legs" into being (actually, they were handy to hide the landing gears). So, you know, thanks I guess! My, my, you are the goddamn emperor of low part counts.I am a massive fan of bunching together several ships around motherships/stations/bases, so since I don't own a supercomputer I have to make each part count! A 100 part ship might not look like much, but when you have five of them flying in formation, or just parked somewhere, you start wishing you hadn't put so many lights, and start wondering how to achieve the same lighting effect with as few as possible. Multiply that by two three* and a half years of playing like that...Anyhow, I now realize I commented on the launcher, and didn't show it so it might be confusing. Here it is, 171 parts on the ramp with a 20 part payload (the 85 figure is for one empty Eagle, of course, this build has luxuries like 100% aesthetic wing parts).Rune. *My Kod, has it actually been that long? HafCoJoe
Well this thing is stock for the time being Javascript is disabled. View full albumThe part count is somewhere in the 700s and unbelievably laggy... I haven't even added the moving doors and lift yet... They'll be infernal robotics though so I'm not too worried. And when I actually use this in filming I'll probably break it down into subsections of the craft. So big...EDIT: What is up with Imgur... Zucal
My first foray into larger craft- this may or may not see release. The part count is getting quite heavy (due to the solar panels).

Yukon0009
ATM is the square module with panels sticking out the end, and I mean the end without the engine fairing.
Zucal
The end closest to the camera is the big 3.75m-2.5m adapter clipped into a large decoupler. On top of the adapter is a Poodle engine shroud with some structural panels.
