Jon144
Thanks for all of your input here. Ive done some minor tweaking to get the tail to look more authentic without sacrificing too many parts. This will probably be what the release version will look like.P.S. That thing of yours is huge!

SHiftER2O
If anyone's interested, there's a C-5 Galaxy that needs fixing...Note to SHiftER; The part count makes it nearly impossible to look for the little flaws that made the design a failure... I hate to say this but there is a point you can actually build something too huge. But that is squad's fault. On a positive note that is a really creative way of mimicking the real plane's engines. On a positive note that is a really creative way of mimicking the real plane's engines.Sigh, sadly that seems to be the limiting factor right now. and the hard part is how struts cause heck-tons of drag, and if a single strut is asymmetrical, the whole aircraft flips over and does fireworks At least I got a positive note I was so pumped with trying this, but all hope drained the moment it loaded Combine everything, and you can come up with... this!Note to SHiftER; Except maybe not, just needs more persistence. Roflcopterkklol
Have not played KSP for a while so i decided to start re building white lightning, Nearly there, Im not sure if i want to add the extra engines and fuel... its already 95 tons for a relatively small plane lol. Flies well at least, i do not think i have ever built a plane that handles as good as this does in the upper atmosphere, just about impossible to lose control of it.Hmmm not good enough. Makes it to HKO would like to see that at 2 million km HKO though. going to have to change the fuel and engine set up. Roflcopterkklol
Well this job is huge.... at least its easy to pull apart like this.. the entire plane is essentially 5 modular pieces now. This is the 11th re build... 11 generations of white lightning lol... Columbia
My Rosetta-Philae replica failed after a flight that nearly took a day, only to end with failure after it was deemed impossible - The timespan which I could do a burn was too long for me to finish it before I was out of Gilly's SOI.I'm done with Ion engines and Gilly - The Ariane 5 was already working well! Roflcopterkklol
I think i have the right fuel mix finally... to be tested.. If people have ever wondered why but never actually had a good look for the reason, this is why my craft normally weigh over 100 tons, This is also the reason why a lot of my craft burn their fuel evenly from all the fuel tanks available. (8985 liquid fuel and 4675 Oxidizer in the craft all up with this new tank) i kinda feel like im cheating when i build things like this, admitted it is easily 10 times harder to build a craft like this and actually have them work than it is to build within the rules being conservative, heck this is up to 11 complete re builds for an example but still.... ah well at least i don't use the debug menu i guess. Jetenginestar
After 1 Hour of Hack Gravity, Jet engines and Parachutes, I just managed to wrestle this 99 ton foundation to where it is suppose to be, next for the 60 ton, 100m Tunnel Edited June 18, 2015 by Jetenginestar

SaturnianBlue
Here's my Ariane 5 G, still has some issues, but I've tried making a "thrust curve" where each of the clipped SRBs use up the fuel one at a time to simulate the tapering off of thrust. Here's my try at a Vulcan, turns out they are quite small in proportion to the rocket... SRB seperation Still some kinks to work out like this, where the 2nd stage is separating... rather sub optimally. Here's my Atlas 551, (hopefully someday with a New Horizons payload). Still some problems such as aerodynamically sensitive (getting ~3 degrees off prograde sometimes is easily enough for it to tumble). I've gotten most of the problems regarding asymmetrical SRBs dealt with, but quite wobbly.

DMSP
What I am doing:-Starting a new project, the "Delta Clipper". (80% Done!)I already have it almost worked out.-Also making a Soyuz 2 Rocket modeled after this: (20% Done!)-Making a new series of lifters, one of which will have a space on Stage 2 for 8 small "Hitchhiker" sats. (Done!)-Working on a Cupcake... style atmospheric only dropship for Laythe and Kerbin. Works well and can land on water. It is under testing but the final version should be able to carry 10+ tons. (Done!)-Testing Rune's base 1.0 (Not started... Sorry Rune, I'm busy on Minmus . Actually, I'll send the base there!)Oh, also, I'm working on a deep-space ComSat network (Done!), and teaching my sis KSP (She has gotten good, now she sends out ComSats by herself!) Those two are linked, she tests the controls and I send the craft out as SunSats after. Works very well sctually, and I mostly use the Mun for slingshots out. It taught me some things too! (I skimmed within loading range of my Mun base with the most recent probe).
vitekc45c
Started rebuilding my 0.90 Energia/Buran today, so far the main rockets part count got reduced to 42 (from 615) and it now weights 1428.9 tons (1559.8 tons before rebuilding).EDIT: A few explosions later...... Rune
-Testing Rune's base 1.0 (Not started... Sorry Rune, I'm busy on Minmus . Actually, I'll send the base there!)Hahah. Don't worry! It's just everybody else that is waiting for it to be released. Joking aside, I might get to somewhat test it myself soon-ishâ„¢, I have the tech tree almost cleared in career (one good mission to Mun + one to Minmus equals more than 7k science!), which means it's time to start thinking interplanetary bases. And of course I'll use my own pack. I just need about a thousand and a half more science to unlock the necessary probe cores and fuel tanks for the boosters, and I'll be able to load them. Also, a few comment on what you guys are working on:@Jetenginestar, you are crazy. I wouldn't want to be your computer. That said, rock on! Keep posting those screenies, because that is the only way I'll ever see such scale of building. Are you an architect by any chance?@Clown_baby, that is dedication to the same design. How many different version does that make now?@Saturnian Blue, that is one of the best Ariannes I've seen. I love the upper stage!@vitek45c, that, sir, is the kind of redesign I like to see. Low part counts for the win! And it looks better than the gazillion-clipped-tanks monstrosities out there, well done.Rune. Wow, a lot of quality in the WiP thread this morning. Theoretically, you would make it just as maneuverable as a perfect sphere that way... if it was a rigid solid, that is.Rune. I feel as if I was helping you kill your computer.
