HOLD ONTO THAT THOUGHT, sorry left capslock on, I have a turret for your ship. It's too deep for a tank but perfect for a ship. It allows very smooth Horizontal and vertical translation, no tipping turrets. It works well now I just a have a few minor adjustments. I'll get back to you when I can play later.

Interestingly enough, those are the same bearings used in the Challenger 2 that hasn't been released yet ;)

I'd be glad to see what kind of turrets you've made. Who knows, I'd probably make "Ghosts Stock Warship Depot"..... or is that too much work to do with tanks and warships both massive crafts... and depend on your CPU :)

Hopefully I'll finally get around to releasing this soon, I haven't done anything to the design in quite a while so I think it's pretty much ready. It can handle going down mountains at 50m/s taking 30 metre jumps and survives rollovers regularly, but can't survive 2x timewarp or turns over 16m/s. Go figure.

I'm mainly putting it here to ask if anyone thinks there's anything wrong/missing/could be improved with the craft before I release it, it's meant to be an off-road rover kind of based on the Halo Warthog.

Miniature sized KV-2 with shootable gun and high recoil because of its low weight

It's so tiny and cute! (*insert heavy weapons guy lines here*)

Still though, I've never gotten how to build those teeny-tiny turret/chassis bearings. I have a headache enough as it is managing all the tiny bits of the surface craft I already make! ;.;

Well of course, the smaller the bearing is, the more prone to glitching it becomes.... especially when the turret gets jammed into the wheels. I have a video of the tank going 50 meters per second+ with no throttle applied... so buggy but the loseph Stalin 2 mini is suitable for the most adventurous of kerbals.

Much smaller and 500 parts less than my celebrated two-spool high-bypass turbofan, here's my single-spool high-bypass turbofan.

qsdKo8Z.png

This one has a practical application (i.e. you can power your ((huge) huge)) (airliner|enormousthingofprettymuchbadtaste) with two of these) because both the fan is being rotated and provides thrust, and coming out the back is additional thrust.

Now there are two reasons why I won't upload this:

1: the overheating bug.

2: the "cannot activate while stowed" nuisance.

Squad: *bitte wirklich abschaffen, weil es ätzend ist.

*because some things are more impressive in German.

Oh wow, how does it work?

A little side project while I wait for CommanderSpock to iron out the problems with the Mark IV Tank:

yjAW4SD.jpg

A Type VIIB U-Boat in the works. I still have to build the side fuel tanks, fill in the interior, and test the thing. I doubt I'll be able to put torpedoes in it, so I'm using structural intakes as a substitute.

AeHtxww.jpg

Side profile view. It may need to be a little bit longer, and possibly have a larger upper hull, but it looks pretty close to scale here.

Oh boy, look at all this interior space I have to play with! I can probably do a full interior, I found some good reference photos to use.

Just kidding about the sub tech war, Azimech's sub is still better than this little boat.

It uses my turboshaft design coupled with a number of jet engines pointing out the back.

Don't laugh at his little rotor. I'll install a different one soon.

I updated it and changed the pictures, but it won't show them in the forum. Just click the picture for the new ones.

First flight of my semi-stock Mil-Mi 24 Hind. My favorite helicopter. Mods used: KAX & BD-Armory.

Someone please make a mask for Kerbbpaint, for the radiators and satellite dish.

Have you got a good download of the stock part masks for kerbpaint? the default ones hardly work on anything

Oh and I like the Hind a lot

Trying to rescue Jeb from his orbiting space house, naturally using an SSTO Semi Truck. It is Jeb, after all.

This is going in this thread because I am planning to release the non-boostered version of the truck at some point, so feedback on it would be great, if you can see it behind the explosions.

That this thing flies after an "aerodynamic overhaul" is... odd. Sure, it didn't go to space, but when a semi truck can handle 6g turns and going supersonic...

It makes no sense and is brilliant at the same time!

Open wheel race car based on the very early formula 1 cars

Very good cornering ability, but the most fun thing to do with it is to use Hullcam VDS and drive it in first person, everything is aligned for a really good view over the hood.

Needs more rollover protection for the kerbal though, but I don't know how to do it without screwing up the CoG. Also turn radius isn't as good as I hoped.
