V 0.6 - MAJOR UPDATE (08/02/2014)

- Sciences add to all planets and moons (Crew report, atmosphere and Goo report... for the moment)

- Major revamped design of Vulcania (Map and texture completely revamped and a huge volcano was added)

- Revamped design of Rhea (A mountain range was added)

- A new moon add to Rhea (Lemoni)

- A new moon add to Hermes (Eos, beautiful ice moon with a gigantic glacier and a snow storm swirling around it)

- A ring add to Urania (very alpha)

- Ice storm add to Hecate

- Dust storm add to Themis

- Minor adjustements in SOI (Erato and hyperion)

- Add oxygen to Ares and Hestia (Send your aircraft <3)

Science? So, science archives now work properly? I was planning on visiting your system on sandbox mode, but now...

By the way, does this mod replaces science defs file to adds its own science reports?

If its the case then i guess there wont be playing witch crew sourced science logs at the same time because it does the same.

It replace only the file to ADD the Urania's science definition. That's all. You keep all the stock science definition of course :rolleyes:

Botch clouds pack replace config files.

Ideal for me woudl be kerbin and other stock planets with hdclouds (aurora can be or not - i dont really care) and urania planets with their own clouds of course.

this is exactly what i did, i'm using Alternis Kerbol, Urania's planet and HDclouds from Astronomer and have merged the 3 config file into one and it work really nice :)

i can up my config if anyone is interested

Well, my PC probably woudl not handle both urania and alternis.

But i think sido shoudl inlude astronomer pack as defauld into his pack.

I just installed the pack, but for some reason all of the new planets with atmospheres are horrendously dark, especially for Urania

Be sure to use the normal compressor texture mod of boulderco, and have at less 2X antialiasing enable.

I don't know what interstellar is. But if it use the same map as ScanMap, it would be ok

In KSP Interstellar the resources for each planet are set in config files using the Open Resource System mod by the same guy. It doesn't work normally with Planet Factory planets, but there might be a way to add them.

when i added the sido planets to the sceince definition.cfg when i did a report all i got was a 0 sceince generaic report so dont know what else beyound putting something in the sceince defenitions .cfg u need to do.

I did a quick test by dropping a craft on Ares.

Good news is the oxygen in the atmosphere works great with jet engines and TAC Life Support's air filter. Interstellar on the other hand returns nothing, since the planets aren't defined in its system.

I still haven't finished my transfer (about 80 days to go) to Urania. My question is, would me updating the system cause a problem?

I have alarms set with Kerbal Alarm Clock (for SOI changes) and I also have an encounter with 1 of the moons (not a huge problem if I lost that).

I want to update, because I have science on the ships going there, but I also don't want my work going to waste - for some reason I decided to go all out once I started using Kerbal Alarm Clock - I've launched about 30 missions in the space of 20 game days.

there a good chance that it may if there any .cfg changes it could reset the planets postition maybe. just back up your save first and the old version of sidos mod then install the new one and see

I did intend to take a backup first (I have a ridiculous amount already!), I just wanted to know what to expect when I get around to it. Sadly I am working now, and I'd rather not be. I hope to play later tonight, but I just got a lot of work dumped on me, and that's why I am wasting time reading forums! :wink:

I'm hoping I can drop the update in and have it work without issues. Worst case, I'll ignore the update until I finish my trip.
