Mechjebs Space-plane landing autopilot is old, outdated, and not updated for use with the NEW locations and will not be updated till certain other features are fixed, like rendezvous and docking.

My mom came over randomly and she bumped me off my computer while I was about to land and she killed Jeb while she was trying quit KSP because she wanted to play around with my text editor. Yeaaaah I don't know why but she threatens me.

I had converted the KSO into an Enterprise-glider testing state with a aft cover that I'd made in Cinema 4D and put in Unity (No, I won't distribute it). I also tested it without the aft cover coming down from space and this time the KSO was WITHOUT MECHJEB and it still killed 6 more Kerbals after I got into a hypersonic spin. And no I don't have FAR installed.

Film this hilariousness please lol

I'll try but I never have good luck uploading to YouTube because of my crappy internet (they say it's "high speed" but that's nothing but bull**** which pisses me off immensely)

KSO docked to my Kerbin propellant depot. Jebediah commanding the first test flight of this career game - who else could? Second shot is a close-up of the docking adapter used to connect to the station's 1.25m ports. I did not have the foresight to build the station for the shuttle ahead of time, so the adapter had to be sent up by cargo ATV. Still unsure of what I'm going to be using the KSO for, but damn if it doesn't look sexy.

It's not running Windows...(don't think Windows exists in the Kerbal world).

And yes the laptops are functional; to what extent, you guys will have to wait and find out :D

This is as much as I'm revealing:

Is the interior model larger than the exterior? It looks so spacious for a 1.5m part.

Thats because its larger than that. It will fit just right in the cargo bay as we've been told.

Is the working laptop really necessary? I mean it looks awesome but this mod is already super heavy...

I guess if you fill the cargo bay up, parts have about a 2m diameter. Still the interior looks as spacious as a full, round 2.5m part. Takes a lot of skill. Good stuff.

The laptop should be running kerbuntu. And should have a cheezy vacation picture of jeb and bob drinking pinia coladas on the beach as the background

EDIT:

btw this post is 90% meant a joke. But it would be cool nonetheless

Try a texture compressor.... http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/59005-0-23-Release-2-15-Active-Texture-Management-Save-RAM-without-reduction-packs!

i run out of mods that I want to install before I come anywhere close to running into the memory wall. Yes, there is a texture quality drop. For me the overhead gained and numerous additional heavy mods it allows me to run... I'll cope.

P.S, I run mid 2's on memory usage with all the usual suspect heavy mods AND the cloud mod. Without the compressor I was barely able to run clouds alone with our hitting the wall.

Nope. It's actually smaller in diameter than the external model! :D

The laptops are necessary. I expect folks to extend their use and I will eventually separate them into their own "prop" so folks can use them in their own IVA's and projects. Their footprint is small, just two 512x512 textures.

You also have to take into consideration the FOV both in my viewport and in KSP (which are roughly the same).

Thank you! I was trying to think of something "linuxy" and just couldn't think of anything.
