A guy on the Roguey Forum's showed off what he was doing on KSP; it looked interesting so I watched Yogscast Duncan's series on it, saw how rubbish/average he was at it and so decided I could do better and bought it; Never looked back since! :D

I ran accross one of scott manly's videos while on a youtube binge. Gota love the totaly unrelated Related videos section. Seriously I was watching some music videos and this weird lets play of an even weirder game showed up. I got curious and clicked. Few hours later after watching quite a few of his vids I went and bought the game cause it looked fun.

My friend told me I needed to check out this game he had been watching some videos about. I bought it after about 5 minutes of looking into it and haven't looked back since.

I actually bought him a copy of the game and still can't get him to really play it. He's one of those people that would rather watch videos and live streams of people playing games than actually playing them himself. I've never understood it.

It was sometime back in 2012. I unfortunately do not remember the month. I had a friend who went around telling everyone about a free game to download. I decided to give it a try. Explosions ensue. For those who are new, yes, KSP was free at one point, but that version is nothing compared to the version we have now. Back then I played with this Kerbal Space Thing for hours on end. I even found mods. Eventually, though, my interest dropped, and I deleted the game from my hard drive. It was later, during .15 or .16 long after the game went into pay mode, that I remembered "Oh hey, remember that Kerbal Thing Space? I should check that out." To my amusement, it was still alive, and I clicked "Accept" on the buy option. I still remember those early days with my pink Sundaypunch parts, the Mun (and only the mun) staring menacingly at my creations as I tried to obtain something that could be called an orbit. Such rockets!

I learned about it when Kurt (of Minecraft Far Lands or Bust fame) made his first video on it, which just have been a couple years ago by now. I immediately downloaded it, as the game was still free back then, and when it switched to the paid model, I bought it because I liked the game and wanted to support the devs.

Best friend told me that his friend at work was playing some random space game. I asked him what the name was, and he couldn't remember...about a week later he gave me a piece of paper with "kerbal space program" written on it. About a week after that, I actually looked it up. When I realized what it was all about.....

My mind exploded. And I bought it!!
