Hello guys,

i have a couple of questions regarding this stunning looking mod.

1)Does this work in 0.90 or is it better to wait for an updated version?

2)Are the textures in here DDSLoader compatible or do i have to make the conversion myself?(will this break anything?)

3)Does this have different resolution settings?(Like astronomers high-medium-low)

I got it to work in 0.90 without any issues (insofar I've noticed, at least):

First, I installed the 0.90 versions (if available; I installed EVE for 0.25) of all the dependencies listed in the OP into a fresh checkout of KSP. Then I unzipped and merged the appropriate folders from the KSPRC archive. However, I made sure that I did *not* overwrite any of the other mods' .dll or .version files, and I also left KSP's own sharedasset files intact! So this step requires some care and manual confirmation for the files that KSPRC wants to overwrite (it's not that many, most of the stuff drops neatly next to the existing mods without harming anything).

The other day TextureReplacer did a new release that ships less files than the previous ones, so here you also have to make sure that you don't copy any of the stuff from the PluginData folder KSPRC ships in its bundled TR version, in addition of skipping the .dll.

That was about all I did. I'm not sure what kinds of stuff is missing considering I didn't install KSPRC's sharedasset files, but I didn't notice anything glaring. Also, surprisingly even the CityLights look correct - some people had complained that the lights are offset from the coastlines in 0.90, but I can't confirm that for my install.

I do have DDSLoader installed, but I have no clue if I have to do anything for it to work, or if it does its thing out of the box.

Is this working for KSP .90? I'm using Astronomers, but I want to steal Eve's atmospheric shine. Is this easily doable?
No is not compatible with .90. Proot is working on new version:wink:

You can just go and get the dependencies yourself - all the ones that need to have been updated

I have problems with my internet line (waiting for monday...). Excuse me. I've done the revamp of most of the kerbal heads (including NPC). I was gonna launch my "Valentina Tereshkova head" (done from time ago but waiting a good moment to implement in the pack) but I suspect that "project V" is probably this: female kerbals. So now I'm quite undecided about this subject...

I'm gonna start (and post in the main page) the Google Doc for LAIKA Sir ASAP.

Oh and finally got this working on EVE overhaul: 100% seamless evolving clouds. (may seem easy, but actually is quite hard to get this effect in the new EVE)

Whats this "wavelenght" thing? Does it modify the color of the otherwise white horizon? I cant currently check but i assume since there is no value for Eve it still has a white horizonm, right? If that true do you have any numbers that would work on Eve?

Soooo. A year later :)

So can I see the rings around Jool, in the planetary map, or do I need to go there ?

And is it possible to make it even better graphic? by maybe changing things in the documents?

Just tried to this for the first time and when KSP is starting up and loading everything it gets to TextureReplacer/KerbinScaledSpace300 and completely freezes, stops responding, and I have to close it. It does this every time I try to start it up. Is there any way I can fix this?

I'm doubting about to keep doing stock part revamps. I don't like most of Ven's pods, but I'm in love with his engines and cupola... And despite his mod is CC-BY and can be adopted for KSPRC I wish to, at least, wait to see how Ven finish his closest plans. I the other hand I really like my new retexture for the Mk1-2...

What do you think about this topic?

I wish to do a new poll, but I don't known even how to delete the old one... :P

Anybody knows how to do it?

I agree with Ven's stuff being (mostly) awesome, and given all the work that doing a revamp is, I think the visual overhaul with regards to EVE, etc. should take precedence.

Nonetheless, everyone will be happy about whatever you come up with, because we all know it will be great :)

I dont use Ven's revamp (not enough memory with all the mods xD). If I would use it would be for the engine and tanks because I like your style of doing the pods, crew containers and the other things more. As for KSPRC I like it mainly for the visuals and atmosphere it gives to the game. Keep up with the good work, and I am looking forward to what you come up with.
