toric5
@Lack would you be intrested? if so, should i send stuff you you through github? im thinking mostly mod support patches, but there are also a few things that i personally feel are out of place, sutch as using FScoolant instead of intakeatmo, as most other mods do. (not really a problem, exept for diffrent installs of firespitter overwriting eatch other if your not carefull. also, it honstly looks a bit strange.) i cant do anything mroe than CFG patches, but i would be happy to help with those. I was banking on the Friendly Yellow Truck as an efficient means to go places at the KSC to do some science. Looks like I'm still stuck with the Lame Duck approach (read: wingless plane; not enough science points for rover wheels yet). Any ETA for a fix? The Kerbin Rover mod is a good option for this sort of thing, essentially a Land Rover Defender, and it does work with 1.1.x I have loaded up the roof rack with science and gone prowling the Space Centre. There were FFR ("Fitted For Radio") versions used by the British Army and a version with an extra battery and a Communotron 16 is a good start for that. It's what I use, and the classic Land Rover is a very Kerbalish vehicle, very modular.

AdolfGatonegro
Hey folks, I'm having an issue with a couple of the propeller engines from this mod. I first ran into it in my main install, which is modded all the way to hell and uses Realism Overhaul and RP-0, but I was able to reproduce the issue in a clean 1.1.2 install with only SXT and its dependencies installed. In a clean game it's fairly innocuous except spamming the log with dozens of NREs per second, but in my RO/RP-0 game it can easily cause a hard CTD due to the amount of stuff I have running. My current "workaround" is to simply avoid these engines like the plague but I've been wanting to give propeller engines a go, so here's my report, and if anyone has any suggestions or insight, it'd be more than welcome. Thanks! --------- KSP: 1.1.2 Windows 64bit Problem: Propeller engines causing NullReferenceException errors Mods installed: Lack's Stock Extension - SXT25.2 (tested manual and CKAN install) Firespitter core/configs - Tested both v7.2.4 (latest) and v7.2.1 (included in SXT25.2 download) Module Manager 2.6.23 Reproduction steps: In the VAB or Spaceplane Hangar screens, in the Engines tab select the KO-213 "Wolf" Piston Aero-Engine, the KO-R2800 "Hornet" Piston Aero-Engine or the KO-TP12M "Bear" Turboprop. Selecting and/or placing either of the first two engines causes the following NullReferenceException error to be produced constantly: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at FXModuleAnimateThrottle.FixedUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 These exceptions stop only when the parts are deleted from the scene or unselected. Selecting and/or placing the last engine produces a warning, which appears only once: FXModuleAnimateThrottle: Could not find animation nk12M in part's animation components. Check the animationName and model file Video of the issue:Video of the issue in action - Captured with the mods specified above in an otherwise clean 1.1.2 career save (funds and science cheated in to unlock all the engines). Aerospacer
Lack, my respects to you for your works in KSP modding. And - Restoring of KSC++ for KSP 1.1.2 with new versions of Kerbal Konstructs -- KSC++ version v3A. What was done: 1) merge with KSCPlusPlusCFGFixes.zip files by AlphaAsh; 2) converting of textures to fast .dds format; 3) minor tweaking of objects placement - for compatibility with Kerbin Side (and clear way for a train); 4) add a few new objects: a) middle-range guidance tower (just for visibility control before landing); b) large truck near VAB. Spoiler Both this "new" objects was created by Lack and previously was hidden, but was stay among of KSC++ files. KSC++ v3A was doing and checked in Kerbal Konstructs 0.9.6.5, but must to good work with latest versions KK, thanks to AlphaAsh for it. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Link to download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6n0ztny460ne8oz/KSCPlusPlusv3A.zip?dl=0 (just 1.3 Mb)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All rights, and other - to Lack and according to his licence. SpannerMonkey(smce)
Hi @Lack I know it's been a while since we last did any business , I see there are a lot of issues and sadness surrounding the demise of the little yellow trucks wheels, I still have somewhere the original assets you sent all that time ago, if you're interested I'd be happy to get a grip of them and make them 1.1.3 compatible ( pretty much got the new wheels sorted now) although due to some u5 wheel collider oddness the dual wheel boxes( if they are still used) are well and truly extinct TBH it looks to me as you really could do with a maintainer( i know how it gets, having only returned to KSP myself after a long period of non modding ) I'm pretty much buried in other projects but would happily take a swing at some of the more troublesome issues this mod is having.
