Tapejara
Some may remember me mention a while back about a third and final Tantares mod, focused on small scale ISRU and colony style habitats.Currently I'm experimenting with the Regolith, but the final version will certainly run on the stock system.I got a little tired of placeholder models, so here's the resource canister, the "drill-bit" will follow shortly http://puu.sh/gcDyJ/e67889a7b9.jpghttp://puu.sh/gcDzP/88d0f4b64d.jpghttp://puu.sh/gcDAH/c4cb16f5a1.jpgAlso planned is a generic "Luna Glob" landing Bus, to get the equipment to the surface. I guess something similar to a bigger Fobos Grunt.http://puu.sh/gcEzs/ae32d6b49e.jpgI wasn't particularly hyped about the resources system planned for 1.0... until now
Beale
I wasn't particularly hyped about the resources system planned for 1.0... until now Hehe! That's great.I'm kind of looking to do small scale ISRU like this:Or:As I feel the stock system (from what we've seen so far) will probably be quite a medium/large operation. Here's a few (tiny) shots of some of the Lunny Poligon concepts. You can appreciate the "outpost" feeling.Really nice small inflatable habitat. The question of "what happens when you deflate something with Kerbals inside" is difficult to answer without using plugins, but I'm seeing what can be done.Actually it's good to mention, the real Lunny Poligon concept is totally un-manned, so that's probably not a habitat for humans. But the appearance is still good.Unrelated and off-topic, but Ceres looks hella cool!I super-imposed the original Hubble observations to try and get a colour version, though It's probably hugely inaccurate. pTrevTrevs
Oho! I should have won this contest, because I have acctually flown an N1 stack (Block A/B/V/G, stock fueled 2.5 to 1.25 adapter) into orbit. LAST SUNDAY. hahaha pTrevTrevs, I win.Evidencias:http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot364_zpsvpziclzk.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot366_zpsfmbs8lug.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot367_zpse2l96y2h.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot368_zps36klmzdu.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot370_zpsqgdruozk.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot371_zps6kolqys8.pnghttp://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg559/bien_vincent/screenshot374_zpsy6qirutl.pngCheers, flamerboy67664/SpaceEaglePS. pTrevsTrevs, Beale should decide who wins among us 2From what I understood, Beale's challenge was to insert a fully fueled Block A tank into Kerbin orbit without using cheats. My challenge is to insert an entire N1 rocket into orbit, also fully fueled, as a payload.Tricky, tricky... The question is, does the whole stack have to be fueled? o.OOf course! What kind of challenge would it be if it weren't?Can I use a modded (realistic) superbooster and RSS?I suppose so, although it seems like it would be easier in normal scaled KSP. Oh well, more bragging rights for you if you do it in RSS!Sorry for taking so long to respond, but like most people, I have a life away from my computer/ phone.I'm not entirely sure that it is possible to complete my challenge, I guess the only way to find out is to try it myself! Prepare yourselves...

Beale
Will the legs be separable from Blok E?Also awesome, Lunny Poligon!Yep - Meaning I have to get my head around the suspension-leg module setup. But that's the plan. Many thanks!
tg626
Mk II, in final testing stages. I have not yet perfected the landings, and had to add a fair amount to allow control in all phases of flight. (I can't help but think, "Wouldn't this be CRAZY expensive?!?") Niemand303
How much does that behemoth weigh on the launch pad?Like the real one, around 2.9 kilotons. It will also have thrust control to simulate KORD system, which turns off engines to lower thrust.I will upload the configs after I finish Gemini, V2 (for fun purpose) and ATV (waited too long with that one). Also, RealFuel configs will be modified (thanks to SpaceHungryMan for the support of new stuff). LK will be not made until the planned overhaul, Fuji has too few information about it, but I will add something in future versions.

Delivery of an adapter docking port to the "Salute" station previously launched by ROMBUS.http://imgur.com/a/M5lSDThis is really nice, and I'm not usually so crazy about spaceplanes. Is it basically an SSTO? Or does the plane make the final orbit.Like the real one, around 2.9 kilotons. I think it ran on UDMH/NTO, eh, but I am not so sure.

Beale
Can you get to mars (duna) with this?Should be able to send something (reasonably) large to Duna. But not quite a manned landing.Edit: I speak a lie, actually my last manned trip to Duna was N-1 launched, but it was one way only. I think already hoojiwana is quite interested in at least RealFuels (because of the discrepancy between "LiquidFuel" and Hydrogen masses). That would be very cool to see Yeah the LK is still a headache...Slowly... curtquarquesso
Moar LK!Also, I've found really nice website with interiors!-Salyut and the Soyuz OM if inhabited by the Brady Bunch... To add to that, here's a great render done of the LK. I can't speak to it's accuracy, but it's impressive. There's a good chance you've already seen it, if so, this is for anyone who hasn't seen it: Regarding the LK's EVA hatch, since you're not strictly sticking the the stock hatch design anymore, is there any chance you'll go for a more rounded hatch design for the LK, or are you trying to keep things simple and unified?P.S: Here's a great forum post of a guy paper-modeling a 7K-LOK with an LK. May or may not be helpful, but still an interesting read. Edited February 26, 2015 by curtquarquesso
