Q Will KerbinSide have destructible buildings?

A Depends on how easy it'll be to do and whether the effort is worth the return. So yes, some of them, probably :)

My kitten make my Kerbal sad, he stomps the space bar (almost like he knew).

So........ AlphaAsh....... It's been 4 days since I sent in my description submission..... I may seem impatient but it HAS been 4 days... Can you also post a list of sites which have their description done? Thanks in advance!

Yup. I'll put some time to this later this evening. Sorry chap, I've had to prioritise my time a lot more than usual these last couple of weeks. Stuff. Excuses. etc.

Not only will .25 have destructible buildings but also opens the way for deformable terrain. Which is is cool, because now I can make my ships sink.

Okay how is this for the description of my Kerman-Class Cruiser. Too silly?

The KSS Kerman is a relic of days done by, one of 12 still in service to defend Kerbin from one of the greatest threats the world had seen.

There was once a period of Kerbin history where all of Kerbin kind was in fear. A world divided, this period was called the Kold War. It all started when two ministries had met up

for diplomatic discussions over tade, airspace and what would be for lunch on Tuesdays. The argument had just gone from Tuesdays to Wednesdays and why Thursdays were such a

bad idea when someone let one go. That someone was Kold Kerman, he had meatloaf in the cantine, and it was a Friday. The smell was so horrific that many of the dignitaries

passed out from asphyxiation. The talks about lunch ceased there and then because everyone was just so put off. Soon after word got out about the stench a mass hysteria rose up

in the community about post lunch Fridays, meatloaf and the outcome.

Everyone stated pointing fingers at everyone else, even the lunch staff in the canteen, most fingers were pointed at Kold. The opposing ministry, the one who preferred Wednesdays

over Tuesdays, started accusing the other ministry of suicide farting. As a result, many were afraid of either side using stench-chemical weapons in retaliation. Many economists were

worried about the cost of all the millions of tons laundry that would have to be washed should either side use a WMS (Weapon of Mass Smelliness). No one moved, no one dared to

breath, the world was silent. Then someone farted... a great war broke out all over Kerbin.

Weapons were made and stockpiled, ships were mass produced, aircraft were rolled out onto airfields, and meatloaf was off the menu for good. Then one grave and frightful Monday,

after a smelly war had ravaged the face of Kerbin, a geat being appeared in the sky. Attracted to the foul odor, the enormous leviathan descended to the surface warping physics and

causing havoc all over the world. Planes would suddenly disappear with out a trace, ships would spontaneously combust, and pens would spill ink all over shirts. It was then, a brave,

smelly, and ink covered Kold would load all the remaining meatloaf into a large rocket. Into the great maw he would fly the suddenly disintegrating craft, personally guiding the

delicious warhead to its final destination causing the Great Space Kraken to blow off flatulently off into deep space, never to return. With Kold Kerman a hero yet lost forever, every

first Friday was deemed Kold's Day. The two ministries joined back together forming the now United Kerbin and decreed that Snacks were the official food for lunch everyday.

Can I request something? I was wondering if you could make something like the Mars Yard to test your rovers and stuff. :)

I can't promise anything but if I have time between my three existing projects I may craft a rough terrain zone to test rover probes, maybe include a half pipe too.

Wait wait wait....... You have 3 projects right now? What do you have other than Oceania and the highway? Or have I just missed something here?

Oceania, and Oceania Extras but everything is just models at the moment. I'm going to make a banner once I get everything done. I forgot to make 'T' intersections and '+' intersections for my highway thing. I'll have it done soon for medsouz. Also I'm building a temporary bridge (because I'm tired of not connecting KC to KC'Itl), and I'm planning out a new city similar to Kerbin City.

Not in KerbinSide, no. Maybe if another mod makes it possible to for players to establish extra-kerbin bases with statics, then I'd make content for it. But under an off-shoot of KerbinSide.

EDIT - Basically I'm not keen on pre-placed static bases on anywhere other than Kerbin. Establishing bases off Kerbin should be more involved with the game mechanics.

The multiple anomalies for different structures makes ScanSat maps quite cluttered. Having a runway and a rocket launchpad at the same location puts down 2 or more anomaly markers.

ScanSat thread is that-aways. This isn't something KerbinSide will address.

I'll contact the SCANSat devs and see if I can get them to recognize a Kerbal Konstructs setting that marks if something should show up as an anomaly.

Is it KerbinSide that is defining sites as anomalies?

Why is that? I'm not trying to argue with you but I'm pretty sure that he wants prebuilt launch sites instead of having to build his own.

Extraplanetary makes more sense for launch sites as the player and KSC is the first to actually take Kerbal's off Kerbin. They are as destructible as KSC will be.

As for the non-kerbin statics, I did notice in some of the configs that there is a setting to declare which planetary body the static is being placed on. This has me thinking that technically you may be able to specify a different body for your static objects to be rendered. I do agree however that off-planet launch sites should be more involved than downloading a static mod and picking the launch site.
