I'd like to join the Forum team. I'm reasonably good in docking, transfers, landing (rockets in general); SSTOs aren't a very big deal with the new RAPIER engine. I'll understand if I don't get chosen although I will be grateful if I do ^_^ .

Not sure if I should volunteer or not, I seem to have got very stuck on my Jool 5 mission...

That is flattering, I don't consider myself nearly as skilled as any of the other three, not to mention many others I could name. I'd say that I'm better at talking about KSP than actually playing it. :)

Y'know, if it wasn't for the vague hint of prizes, this divisive and elitist "representative" tourney thing wouldn't really bother me. This seems a very bizarre and tribalistic style of "community" building.

That aside, if I wasn't planning to be on the road for all of July I'd definitely put my name in the hat for one of the forum teams. So instead I'll just stand on these electronic sidelines and yell/cheer as time allows. (And maybe mutter something about the poor Google+ team that didn't pass the qualifiers....)

And thanks for the bouncy module and the giant airbags. ;)

Well this is it, it happened. As half of us hoped and the other half feared, SQUAD has gone and started releasing DLC before finishing the game.

I kinda sorta wanna play, but I don't really think I'm well-known for anything around here, so I'll just spectate and cheer. Still downloaded the mod though. Perhaps those footballs can be used as airbags...

I think we are being to narrow minded i personally believe that

Each team will collaborate on a mystery challenge
suggests that the challenge will not be a challenge to do something in kerbal space program but something else. Either way I think developing a real world skill set as well as purely kerbal one is the way forward.

P.S. if anyone is interested i am aspiring to be a theoretical physicist, consider myself to be good at maths and science and would like to compete for the forum.
