Petition: Get Xacktar to be a part of the media group

The media group is a group of people who make KSP videos and are affiliated somewhat with Squad. As far as I know this includes:

HOC Gaming

LeGoldfish

OperationDX

WhiteOwl

Scott Manley

Streetlamp Production

Danny2462

EnterElysium

Pleborean

Nassault (now he's technically with Squad now, right?)

These people generally get the next update of KSP a bit early to make videos about it. Which brings me to Xacktar. Xacktar's videos are as good if not better than Danny2462's videos, and his content extends past just videos. His Kerbals all have individual personalities, for instance.

I never noticed that you can see who voted for what if you check the results early enough. Sort of makes me not want to vote negatively about someone in a poll like this (not Zacktar specifically, I don't watch much in the way of KSP youtube so I don't know if he's better or worse than the others).

Less flippantly, I think he's more of a "play a lot of games a little bit" kind of guy and KSP requires more of a time and effort commitment than he's got or is willing to give. Which is sad because I enjoy his videos even though - now that I'm better at the game - they frequently make me cringe.

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of his videos (Next Car Game is always a hoot, as is ... the other driving game he plays that's not an F1 simulator. With huge open worlds where you just drive off cliffs and stuff) and keep checking his channel every once in a while (I'm giving his Spintires series a try right now but it's totally not making me want to play the game), but as far as KSP youtubers go, he's simply not one any more.

I collaborated with Xacktar once and that video is the most viewed on my Youtube channel, he said to me: "Work with me and we will re-become the greatness we never weren't". Then exploded. I still don't get it. Genius.

Yeah, I was just catching up on his stuff, cringing at least every 5 minutes :-) It's still worth watching, at least.

Yup, sad, he was the first youtuber I ever saw do KSP and what brought KSP to my attention (and boy did I ever kick myself for not finding it sooner), but he managed to youtube ONE trip to the Mun during 0.21 (to be honest, it was three launches, due to all the refueling).

On topic, I'll watch some of Xacktar's videos before voting.
