Heh, I've often wondered that myself. The only conclusion I can come to is this; There are 300+ million people from the U.S. It is the third most populous country in the world. Furthermore, it is the largest Developed country. This means there is a large percentage of its population on line at any given moment.

Also, the internet's pseudo official language is English. It's the reason why so many people on the internet sound like they are from The U.S., Canada, Australia, or The U.K.
