part count: 739

kerbals: 1 the pilot

1 inner turbo jet engine's (4)

2 outer turbo jet engine's (4)

3 lv-t30 rocket engine's (4)

4 airintake's (to many to count)

5 decoupels the cargo

flight tips:

close airintake before take of and open them when you run out of air (never heard that one before :D)

turn one group of jet engine's of when you run out of air again.

throttel down when you run out of air again (around 35,000m).

0.55 seems to be the airintake treshold.

run out of air again???? to bad :sticktongue:

Very nice!

Hum... Not exactly the place but what is a "rep" ? :P

rep is short for reputation. you click on the star below people's posts to give them rep. looks like you've got some yourself, judging by the green bar above your join date.

DeltaV. This is the amount of "DeltaV" (yes xD) that your ship has, the capability to move from a point to another one by dealing with "Amount of Motion" when explusing burned-accelerated material.

You might be able to calculate it by yourself thanks to mathematic formulas but this could be kinda hard because of the long time spent in atmosphere that makes the thing a bit difficult :P Some mods can give you this information really simply, like Engineers Redux I would say (i'm full stock, dunno exactly).

One orange tank in orbit, this is nice ! We need pics of the delicate landing :P

It basically determines how many m/s you are gonna accelerate using all of your fuel and thrust in your spacecraft

I guess the delta v I'm most interested in is what you get from the LFO engines when pushing out of the atmosphere. I can never really get my head around the huge dv numbers associated with jets.

Neither do I.

so the guys that want to now the delta v will have to download the plane and tell me :D

jep you pushed me over 100 rep thanks

I could have sworn you had more than that already! Anyhow as to the plane, very nice. Have you considered I-Beams to stop those ugly holes from showing on the leading edge? And by your own numbers, taking out some oxidizer (1k units, no so little) would increase excess delta-v to pay for the added weight and then some.

Edit: Now if you stopped building up suspense and gave a DL link, I would even rep you. :P

Rune. Says the one whose rep bar did a couple doublings in under three months. ^^'

i'm trying to keep my part count down but the I-beam is nice idea ill keep in mind.

if already removed some oxidizer to make the plane lighter

i'm gone make a video and than upload the plane in about a hour.
