Jeb's Junkyard short and the Space Suit.

So in the new short "Jeb's Junkyard", the Kerbanaut is shown wearing an upgraded space suit. Is it a teaser for 0.25? I heard that one of the devs were trying to re-model parts to better fit with the art-style of KSP, and maybe the Space-Suit is part of that.

I really want that Space Suit!

wait a second...Isn't that the spacesuit on the golden Jeb statue? If they are planning to update the suits I hope we still have the old ones as a cosmetic choice, would be nice to have some difference between astronauts.

Side note. I demand that Jeb's junkyard be put somewhere on Kerbin.

What if... when/if they add cities, they also add the buildings of all the in-game companies?

Thats something I've been thinking about for a while, just seeing a logo on a building.

Getting Back on topic. I wonder if the suits going to just be cosmetic or if the devs are going to make it an upgrade or something.

I just hope they make it the new model! It looks much more suitable (pun intended) for the visual style of KSP Parts, as there's no visible photo-sourced textures on it.

GregoxMun, completely unrelated, but I just wanted to say that there is no more hype train for you to drive now. :P

HypeTrain is still there, it's just resting in the siding until 0.25 is soon.

If you click on the information panel for an EVA'd kerbal, you can see that the type of suit they are wearing is actually named (I think it is 'hardened EVA' or something). Possibly the kerbals will be able to wear different kinds of spacesuits and be able to swap between them one day.

Spend six months revamping the game and all they notice is a new suit in a cut-scene... Way to be fashion whores....

Never mind all the new cool stuff you got. You only care about playing dress up.

But... But, the suit was made of fool's gold. Anyways. Feel sorry for the Kerbal in that he forgot his helmet. Also I like the fact they used bottle caps and other do-dads for cash and that the kerbal brought in a lugage quite possibly full of said currancy and that the engineer was willing to sell the Kerbal a rocket.

But it wouldn't fit, would it?

I mean on the Kerbals.

Mine says Maximum-Absorption Garment.

EDIT: And if you look closely, the render of the Kerbal on that same info panel uses the updated model.
