Are you kidding? Test TT18-A launch stability enhancer at moon.

That's so preposterous, it's genius! I so wish it were possible to actually do this.

Like the one I got to test landing gear while on an escape trajectory out of the Kerbin system. That was so pointless that it was actually fun to do.

I don't see what the problem is. I've flown plenty of Launch Stability Enhancers into space before.

Landing one on the Mun, though, would be a little trickier. Especially when the enhancer hasn't been activated yet.

Challenge accepted.

Though I doubt any good will come out of this, as it's technically impossible.

If you have the Stayputnik, you can put it on top of the command pod. It looks nice.

I have a pretty neat design of automated rescue/one man transport vehicles.

Basically an ICBM guided by a probe core and a kerbal instead of the warhead.

I wouldn't go as far as calling this a bug, although it is a pretty impossible proposition. This is why we also have a 'decline' button...

Actually, the impossibleness of the proposal is by no means unrealistic... if you ever worked in software development, you'll know that sort of request is actually pretty mild, considering... :D

Cheers

But declining makes me feel like less of a man! I prefer catastrophic failure :D

So even the man himself says it's not a bug.... I'm going to build the biggest, ugliest ship and drag one off the launch pad. Can 1 clamp hold the ship down or will it just break eventually?
