Currency names

You know the new in game currency does not have a name as far as I know so post your ideas in the comments and maybe Squad will pick a name.

They do have a name. Funds​ is the officially-sanctioned name for the currency.

The grammar National Socialist in me cannot bring myself to call them "funds". I've been using "kerbucks" mentally, though any reasonable alternative to "funds" is almost guaranteed to be better in my mind.

No idea why they didn't go with Kerbucks or Kredits or somesuch. If they didn't want cuteness and K-puns in the game, then they shouldn't have spent several years including them.

I just call em funds or roots simply because the first is what squad called them and the second is what they used as the symbol for them.

For my own part, I heard somebody call them "spesos" which I thought was brilliant, but my brain just won't let go of "kerbucks."

I refuse to give into K-Syndrome, myself, so most of those suggested currency names don't do a thing for me. I kinda like the idea of calling them Roots, what with the currency sign being what it is, but I honestly don't mind Funds all that much either. It has a certain charm, as with that old NES game Faxanadu where the currency was golds (yes, in plural like that; shopkeepers infamously informed you when you were under-funded that "this is not enough golds").

Because the more Essarbees we earn, the more SRBs we can buy! And everyone knows that if at first you don't succeed you add more boosters!
